“Best Stay in Barbados Yet!!” Stayed at Meadway for 23 nights in august 2013. We have stayed in Barbados many times before and I can safely say this is the best holiday we have had yet! The accommodation was nothing less than superb. Joan, the owner, was amazing and a superb host the whole time we were there. 10/10 does not do this justice! Why doesn't everyone know about this hidden gem? We would definitely stay there again!!

“Harbor Loft Perfection!!” Sarah, Our sincere thanks for a wonderful first time visit to the Harbor Loft. Wow! Amazing loft. So much more than we expected. Plus, your hospitality and Jessica's welcome were the best! I can see why people love coming to Kewaunee when they have a place like yours to use. You have a true gem and you can count on us returning and telling all of our friends as well. Exceptional amenities and charm galore in the loft. Nothing was left to chance and we really appreciated the off the street parking! We also appreciated the restaurant reco's and we spent 2 of our 3 nights enjoying great food and views at Port O Call. Great time watching the boats come in and out and getting the local flavor. Our final night we went to Gibbs, just 10 minutes south and I had as good a rib-eye steak as I have ever had (and I have had a lot!!). We got to every place we had hoped as the weather was perfect (Sturgeon Bay for a boat ride, Carlsville for wine, and of course Green Bay and to Lombardi Stadium). Every night we'd find a new place to sit and enjoy the evening outdoors, then end the night on your rooftop deck. Perfect! And, as I am an avid early morning walker, Kewauness is ideal for this. With the harbor, Hawthorne Lane and the wonderful hilled neighborhoods, there was something new to see everyday. I especially enjoyed the view from Holy Rosary Church overlooking the river and marshland. We hope the rest of the summer is good for you. “Beautiful/relaxing Thanksgiving Week with the women.” We had a great time in this beautiful, well kept 2 story condo on the Lake. One of the things that we liked the most was not only how comfortable we felt but how well equipped this condo is. We had everything we needed to fix a big Thanksgiving day meal and then relax on the deck overlooking the lake. We will definitely be coming back again to this condo to vacation in the Lake!

“What a great, relaxing and fun time!” We had the best time, the view was great and the cabin was spectacular. We never met a stranger in Derby, everyone was so friendly and down home--our kind of people. “Paradise Home.” We stayed at the paradise home in October of this year 2013. it was absolutely beautiful! the house was very spacious and the fishing here is absolutely fantastic! we caught many largemouth bass and huge blue gill. the home was very clean and had very modern features. there is a large screen TV in the living room and a fireplace. the stereo in the house is hooked up to the decks outside speakers so you can listen to music if you're sitting on the deck and playing cards or just enjoying the view. the nature trail walk around the lake is a must!!! It is so beautiful and you see everything from beautiful flowers to wild life. we will definitely be going back again! they have 4 beaches to swim or sun at, and each house has its own row boat and paddle boat. there is also a Jacuzzi off of the master bedroom that hold about six people with beautiful views threw the large windows of the lake and property. I guarantee if you stay here you will come back every year! the hosts are very courteous and friendly and have everything taken care of ahead of time. we went into town for the Friday night fish fry and it was fantastic! it was called the teepee super club. we are already planning are trip to go up next year!

“Wonderful!” We stayed in the Heron's Nest for a family reunion. It was a wonderful! Both the reunion and the cabin and the stay. Being on the river was a different experience for me as I'm used to lakes and beaches. But it was superlative! The morning mists cloaked the river in a blanket of fog from which trees, water, and the occassional barge emerged slowly over the early morning. The chimes played a quiet background vibrant hum that was quite appropriate. I sat out on the deck and watched the mists rise and dissipate then watched the sunlight play as sparkling diamonds over the water. It was wonderful and I did some writing in this wonderful environment. I plan to come back just for myself in the future. I wouldn't have left but I had to come back to the big city for my job. The cabin is multi-storied and big. Each of us, singly or as a mini-group, had our own level and plenty of room. Bug and Michelle and the rest of the staff are very warm and wonderful people and made us feel like family. The area abounds in so many things to do! Some days we just stayed in and grilled and enjoyed being there. Others we went out hiking, caving, and exploring. We definately all want to come back again next year! We had a wonderful time and now have wonderful memories! I would highly recommend these cabins and the Heron's Nest in particular. It's nicely situated on the river to watch the river and the small amount of river traffic (which are actually very nice to watch). And has a nice hot tub, campfire area, dock, etc. It's in nicely quietly remote yet not too far from a lot of fun things to do. Five stars! - Grant

“Only one night at the Bonnie Pearl” What a great place!!!. We sat on the deck and watched the barges go by, relaxed in the hot tub while watching fireworks in the distance and slept wonderfully in the comfy beds. We only had one night at the Bonnie Pearl, but it was a great one.

“The cabin was nice and the setting was beautiful and tranquil.” If you want to spend some time in the country but have nice conveniences like a hot tub, TV, grill, all the stuff you need in the house, this is a great choice. The views of the Ohio River are memorable - the wild life (humming birds, hawks, rabbits, etc.) is plentiful. The cabins are really nice and offer lots of light and views. This is a perfect place to unplug and unwind!

“Wonderfully comfortable home away in the Northwoods” 5 minutes is all it took to appreciate the attention to detail Rick put into this place. Small but very accommodating place that provided exactly the type of inviting warmth in virtual solitude we were seeking. Perfectly equipped to stay in and cook meals, relax by the fire and listen to music. Our canine companion had the freedom to run and explore while walking the property/neighborhood. Never felt like the cabin was lacking anything. The lighted trees created a wonderful ambiance at the end of the day. Overall, a perfect retreat for couples and we will be back to explore in the summer.

“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!
