“Very Relaxing house!” We Really enjoyed Relaxing on the Back Deck watching a Momma Goose sitting on a Nest of Eggs. The House is only 5 miles away from Town, but if Feels So Secluded.

“Wonderful Vacation! Amazing home” What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

“Had a Blast!” The condo was great, well kept and clean. Location is ideal for all kinds of things to do. Beach wasn't crowded at all, compared to other sections. I would definitely recommend this condo and look forward to visiting again!

“Great Family Friendly Home” We had a blast. It felt safe and secure. It was clean and spacious. I have a large family of 9 and everyone had plenty of space. Quiet but friendly neighbors. Amenities were awesome. Hot tub was so relaxing. We had a great time.

“Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches” We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

“Wonderfully relaxing” My husband, 1 1/2 yr old, and myself vacationed here as a babymoon and it was so relaxing and beautiful. The condo was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. It is a very short walk to the beach and very quiet. There is a lot of space for a 2 bdrm condo and we loved being able to have meals there instead of always eating out. I have no complaints at all! Kathy was always very responsive and extremely flexible. We look forward to coming back soon!

“New River Ramble” This was a great time for the entire family. We attended the ASU football game, but until that time we enjoyed all the amenities of the home. The New River, the fire pit, the hot tub, the game room, the bicycles, etc. were enjoyed by everyone. This place has everything you could imagine you would need. We will be back! :)

“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Immaculate and gorgeous "home away from home" cottage in Lake Pl” We had an amazing stay! Go-cottage, 2 bedroom was great and I felt like I was at home. The owner has a keen eye and excellent taste for design. Perfect location for Lake Placid horse show and other activities that we did such as hiking and biking. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to all of my friends.

“Comfy and Clean” Our family of five just returned from staying five nights in Winter Harbor. The stay was wonderful and the house was really great. We all felt so at home. The house was spotlessly clean. The neighborhood was very friendly. The owner provided so much helpful information on area sights and restaurants. There was everything we could possible need in the house for cooking. Three bedrooms upstairs provided nice privacy for early risers to start their day without bothering the others. Nice little deck for quiet reading in the sun. Short bike ride to Grindstone Neck. Could have easily biked to Schoodic Point but ended up driving. Just loved it. Hope we can go back again!!!

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Adorable beachy cottage” Wonderful little cottage. Comfortable slept 4 of us, all the conveniences of home but must bring your own linens/towels/washcloths. Great location, walk to beach, good restaurants. Fireplace provided good heat.
