“Relaxing and rejuvinating” My husband, six month old daughter and I spent the weekend here in May. It was outstanding. Kendall, the owner, was warm and welcoming from the minute we stepped out of the car. She provided us with maps of her property, which you can hike and explore. We especially enjoyed the koi pond and just sitting on the porch swing. The views are amazing from the porch and deck. The cabin is in Fairview, NC which is about 20 minutes away from Asheville. It is the perfect location, far enough away to feel as if you are the only ones around, but close enough to downtown to run in for dinner. You don't have to, however, because there is a restaurant, The Local Joint, about 5 minutes away. They have a variety of local food and organic entrees. Excellent. Kendall is a licensed massage therapist and yoga instructor. We were able to get massages for both my husband and myself, which were fantastic. I also opted to take a private yoga lesson, which was awesome. I am a super-beginner, and she was able to make the class both on my level and enjoyable. We got the "relaxation weekend" which I highly recommend. The massage and yoga class (or sauna treatment) come with the cabin price. There is a hot tub which we were unable to use (because we needed to watch the baby), but looked very inviting. Overall, I would give this vacation spot 5 stars, more if I could!

“Perfect getaway for any occasion” Amazing home!! A group of my girlfriends and husbands came for a "friendsgiving" getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! We came fully prepared for anything we would need but we didn't have to, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we would need! Didn't leave the house one time and had the most amazing weekend!

“Convenient location & responsive owners” The rental was in a delightful, quiet neighborhood & convenient to Parkway, shops & downtown Asheville. The owners were easy to work with & very responsive. Some of the furniture was worn & the landscaping not well maintained. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed the large, screened patio & numerous shade trees keeping it comfortably cool.

The Lodge at Edenderry
Great place, great views, plenty of room

We spent a week at this beautiful home in the mountains. Since the photographs were taken, foliage has grown around the house, and it isn't as brand new as the pictures show. But it is still a warm, lovely home with space for a large group. Our group was physicians and their spouses. We had been stationed together in England in the early seventies. Our time together was wonderful with plenty of room to have all six couples preparing and eating our breakfasts together without bumping into one another. Every couple had its own bedroom and bath, and there was still enough room for one of the couples' sons to spend the week with us. There is one huge bedroom upstairs that could have accommodated another fairly large family. It is difficult to point out any deficits at all, although there are not many closets in the house, no one in our group complained about that. There are two decks and a hot tub as well as a fire pit out the front door. The coy ponds and waterfall out the front door are very pleasant. The "swimming pond" is not close to the house. It is down the steep road toward the bottom of the hill. There is plenty of parking, but over 4 cars, there has to be some re-parking to get one couple or another out. It is an easy drive to downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore Estate. In summary, it is a great place to have a retreat to enjoy one another's company. The Yonder group provides an extensive brochure about the house and Asheville---the best I have encountered in any rentals before. The Lodge at Edenderry comes highly recommended by our group.see more

Serene Mountain Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed this location with our girls and canine family members. The location was perfect for us as we wanted a more rustic mountain setting with views, but easy access into Asheville to go to restaurants, breweries and shopping. Kendall was a super friendly host and provided us with welcomed amenities from her mini-spa. The massages and sauna were particularly appreciated after a long mountain hike. And, gathering in the hot tub on a starry, frigid night, was something we looked forward to at the end of each day. This place will not disappoint for relaxing and getting away from it all. Thanks, Kendall.see more
Mountain Haven
Amazing location for baby's first Christmas!

Mountain Haven was a perfect retreat for our family of 9 adults and 3 kids! The 3 levels worked out perfectly for everyone's privacy and the main floor was very open for great family holiday fun! It was my son's first birthday and with family living between Florida and Ohio, it was a perfect destination to celebrate the holidays! Very conveniently located to all of the attractions in Asheville. The hot tub was amazing as well and everything felt very clean and kept up! Would definitely recommend!see more
Winters Haven
Winter Wonderland

We came to the cabin for a company Christmas party. It is only 10-15 minutes from downtown Asheville (and that's in the snow!), yet you feel secluded enough. The house is cozy and welcoming but has plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy. While we were there, it snowed about 7 inches, so we were able to sled down the hill which was a blast. The company was quick to send someone over to salt the road. We will most definitely be back.see more
Pine Hollow
A very positive experience

In the documentation that was provided for Pine Hollow, the statement read, 'Our goal is to provide all of our guests with an absolutely spectacular experience while staying with us at Pine Hollow'. Pine Hollow did just that. The owner is a very gracious host, and due to the major snowstorm that occurred during our stay, was very accommodating by letting us stay an extra night. The Yonder Team was equally as exceptional and very courteous in our interactions. They were available well into the evening, and whenever we needed to contact them. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for our large group. The garage was converted into a game room, so that even though we could not take advantage of the outdoor amenities [due to the snowstorm], we were able to thoroughly enjoy being inside. I would highly recommend considering staying at Pine Hollow if one wants an exceptional getaway in the Asheville area. Tim Csee more
