10 The Strand
A little gem set in a silver sea

With one of the most beautiful views in the world, this charming, historic fisherman's cottage is hard to beat. With a cosy, comfortable interior that instantly feels like home, you are just seconds away from the beach. We often take our coffees to the sea front bench and watch the boats bobbing or enjoy a drink in the evening just sitting entranced as the sun sinks over Samson. The little town - Hugh Town - is just a five minute walk and about 300 years away. Time has stopped here and the streets are clean and safe. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops to divert you and wonderful coastal walks that allow you to take in great gulps of the cleanest air you'll ever breathe. Like many visitors to Scilly we have been coming for many years and have never found anywhere that we were happier.see more
