“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Retama Reteat” We had a wonderful time at this spacious comfortable spot. We had a few issues with lighting & the dishwasher & the owner, Cat was wonderful. A new dishwasher & light were installed in good time. I would definetly recommend this location which is a block from refreshing walks on the beach, shopping, & nearby restaurants.

“Very comfortable” Love the homeand the pool. Close to all atractions. Plenty of room for all my guests. The Boone plantation was great. Folly beach was beautiful, the harbor cruise was very nice and downtown Charleston was bery nice.

“Violet lane” Home was clean and charming.We enjoyed the pool and privacy greatly. Owner thought of most anything we may need, except one; toilet paper. This was our first time staying in a private home rather than a hotel so perhaps it isn’t a given but if we had known, it would have saved us an immediate trip to store. I cannot speak for other guests but felt that not starting laundry, despite stating was not mandatory, not doing so may affect my deposit. A few other minor issues: missing ping pong table, “key?” to working slot machines, how, or if, the ice maker worked and where the garage door opener was located(we did find on the furnace in the garage the day before we left), and whether the swinging chair was safe to use, despite the crack, may have been problems easily remedied with a phone call but ultimately not important enough to bother owner and take time away from us. Not meant to be a negative review, it is not. Overall, we had a lovely time and would stay again. However, it seemed important to be honest in regard to our experience.

“This place is awesome!” We were so happy with our Vegas experience. Franco and Kay were amazing hosts. We arrived on Easter for our 8 night stay. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find hidden Easter eggs in the yard along with candy filled baskets for our 3 children. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, game room and even the dog Copper. We found all of there suggestions very helpful. Franco even got us free tickets to a magic show on the strip. In short, we loved this place and would go back again if we were to visit Vegas again.

“Very welcoming and worth it !” Me and my family absolutely loved this vacation house everything was so welcoming and near perfect ! “A good choice for our family” This place was as expected, except that the floors needed mopping. This home is advertised as children friendly, but bare feet and small children soon became dirty by crawling on these floors! We began our stay by double mopping both ground and upper floors, as well as the stairs. Other than that, we were happy with our stay, and would choose this place again!
