“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Far beyond our expectations” My husband and I along with another couple had the pleasure and privilege of staying at Casa Yola for four days in late March 2017. Casa Yola was even lovelier than the photos and far exceeded our expectations. I took special care choosing Casa Yola because I was charged with making all arrangements for my travel group. Case Yola wowed everyone and made me look like an expert. Yolanda and John welcomed us with open arms. Yolanda took special care in showing us the property and making us feel at home. She proactively shared a multitude of area highlights. We’re grateful for her local knowledge and extraordinary hospitality. We enjoyed all of her area recommendations. Our accommodations were spotless and beautifully appointed with many amenities. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. We wiled away hours having morning coffee and evening cocktails on the large balcony overlooking the forest and ocean. We were delighted by the many birds in residence. The balcony and adjacent patio had comfortable chaise lounges where we could see more stars in the night sky than what we normally see is visible back home in the Minnesota night sky. She treated us as valued guests and went above and beyond any host I’ve encountered. For example she gave us chairs and blankets for our beach outing eventhough we did not expect it.

“Can't Wait To Go Back!!!” We were introduced to this little gem by accident a few years ago! We shared a ride from the airport to Jaco with a gentleman that convinced us to check out the Monte Carlo. We did, and have been back 6 times since!!! (We used to stay at the Los Sounos) It is by far one of the few hidden gems in Jaco. The staff, location and surroundings are incredible. So close to everything, restaurants, beach, bars, stores and entertainment, yet from the moment you enter this compound, it is true peace and tranquility!! The condos are furnished with everything you need and the service staff will keep the place really tidy. No need to hit the streets to book tours or worry about transportation to and from the airport, Christian, (The Main Man) will handle everything. The pool has a swim up bar and a fridge that we keep pretty stocked. Thats such a bonus!! From the moment you check in, your greeted and treated like your part of the family. Truly welcoming!! We are just planning our next trip, and its all based around the Monte Carlo! Cant wait to come back!!

“Exhilarating” The property manager, Alex, met us at the airport and took us to the home, carried our luggage in and made sure we were comfortable. The house is beautiful, with a spacious deck and dipping pool, surrounded by the natural beauty (sights and sounds) of the jungle. We felt very safe because of the 24-hour security guard at the gate. The "wildlife", however, gave us a few starts! Once we got used to the Jurassic Park sized insects and bullfrogs, we settled in and were very happy. We were close to Dominical beach and not too far from Manuel antonio Park to visit daily. We loved the zipline experience the best. This is a great place to stay if you want to be secluded from the entire world, and yet close enough to go visit places. I would recommend it for those who love nature, or just want to be away from it all!

“Fantastic experience!” The Villa was fantastic. 5 star accommodations. The concierge was very helpful and responded immediately to all our calls. One big reason we chose this villa was because of its location. There was so many activities close by. There were no hidden costs. I highly recommended this property.

“Over the top Hospitality and Care!” My husband and I made the decision to visit Light of Dawn after our daughter's awesome honeymoon and wedding experience at Light of Dawn 3 years prior to our stay. This is a completely worry-free travel experience because Deborah and Pete attend to your every need. From your transportation, food, and excursions, your hosts gladly advise and accommodate whatever you desire. You will feel like family with Edgar, your chef, Clara, your housekeeper, Deborah and Pete, your hosts as you enjoy the lush beauty of Costa Rica. My husband even cooked with Edgar during our stay, fun! We did the zip-line, river rafting, sunset sail, and the Vanilla plantation tours and loved them all. The people of Costa Rica are so humble, kind, and joyful. They love sharing their culture with you. Enjoy!
