“Dream Wedding Come True: Stunning, Unique, Tranquil, Exciting, Inviting” I was fortunate enough to have my wedding in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, and even more extremely fortunate to have it at PDV. I never imagined I would get to have an adventurous beach/jungle wedding, yet get to be in such luxury and tranquility at the same time. PDV allowed me and my guests to feel like we were set directly in nature with the most fabulous connection to beach and jungle, yet get to feel so comfortable, pampered and taken care of by the fabulous staff and amazing accommodations. PDV has it ALL and allows for ANY type of fun, peace, relaxation, partying, natural connection, and more. The best things about it are the views, the luxurious rooms and architecture, the nearby access to beach and jungle, the FABULOUS daily breakfasts, the amazingly nice and helpful staff and the true feeling of happiness and relaxation while you're there! I couldn't have imagined anything more for my wedding and I would 1000% recommend it to anyone wanting to get married or take a family or friend group vacation in Costa Rica! We are absolutely planning to go back in a few years for a reunion trip (and I wish we could go back right now!!!)

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Far beyond our expectations” My husband and I along with another couple had the pleasure and privilege of staying at Casa Yola for four days in late March 2017. Casa Yola was even lovelier than the photos and far exceeded our expectations. I took special care choosing Casa Yola because I was charged with making all arrangements for my travel group. Case Yola wowed everyone and made me look like an expert. Yolanda and John welcomed us with open arms. Yolanda took special care in showing us the property and making us feel at home. She proactively shared a multitude of area highlights. We’re grateful for her local knowledge and extraordinary hospitality. We enjoyed all of her area recommendations. Our accommodations were spotless and beautifully appointed with many amenities. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. We wiled away hours having morning coffee and evening cocktails on the large balcony overlooking the forest and ocean. We were delighted by the many birds in residence. The balcony and adjacent patio had comfortable chaise lounges where we could see more stars in the night sky than what we normally see is visible back home in the Minnesota night sky. She treated us as valued guests and went above and beyond any host I’ve encountered. For example she gave us chairs and blankets for our beach outing eventhough we did not expect it.

“Beautful Condo right on the Beach” What a great week! Everything has exceeded our expectations. I am sure we will return.

“Over the top Hospitality and Care!” My husband and I made the decision to visit Light of Dawn after our daughter's awesome honeymoon and wedding experience at Light of Dawn 3 years prior to our stay. This is a completely worry-free travel experience because Deborah and Pete attend to your every need. From your transportation, food, and excursions, your hosts gladly advise and accommodate whatever you desire. You will feel like family with Edgar, your chef, Clara, your housekeeper, Deborah and Pete, your hosts as you enjoy the lush beauty of Costa Rica. My husband even cooked with Edgar during our stay, fun! We did the zip-line, river rafting, sunset sail, and the Vanilla plantation tours and loved them all. The people of Costa Rica are so humble, kind, and joyful. They love sharing their culture with you. Enjoy!

“Beautiful Home in Manuel antonio!” Our stay in Manuel antonio was wonderful. We went with a group of 7 and the house accommodated us well. We made a few breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen and even used the grill a few nights. We loved spending our morning and evenings poolside before or after the beach. Tom, the house manager, made our stay superb. He was able to coordinate day trips, tell us about the best restaurants in town, as well as take us to pick up groceries. We went zip lining,enjoyed a sunset cruise, and visited the national park. We got in ample beach time each day by relying on the buses or taxis which were affordable and timely. We ate delicious seafood every day and enjoyed the happy hours. You can pay in dollars, but it is easier to have colones. Would definitely stay again!

“Paradise on the beach!” Great home on the beach! Loved that in less than 45 seconds I was at the pool and in yet another 15 seconds I was standing on the beach. I loved relaxing in the hammock that was strung between two palm trees; it doesn't get more relaxing than that! My 6 y/o son loved the pool so much we had to drag him out at sundown. The graduated "beach like" entrance into the pool made it very kid friendly. The poolside tiki bar was also fun for the adults to set up their own bar while relaxing in the pool. The house was fully stocked and was very comfortable. It is the perfect place for a family vacation and you cannot beat the price!

“Great Rental” Great rental, great manger, very clean. Would highly recommend.

“Felt like home, great view, wonderful deck.” We had a wonderful time at La Colina de Carolina in Montezuma. We've stayed at several rental vacation places and found La Colina to be the best for us. It was more like home, rather than cold and impersonal like some places. It's built on a hill with an overhang roof, so it's cool, there was no need for air con. There was a powerful floor fan when we needed it for a particularly hot day. Some places say "well equipped" kitchen, but this one really was! Very homey and comfortable, perfect for a couple. Can't see any neighbours, just nature and a wonderful view. Montezuma is still a small quiet town with unspoiled beaches. We are a past-mid-century couple and managed to walk back up the hill from the beach every day, we just waited for late afternoon when the sun was off the hill. It wasn't that bad, and kept us in shape. We'd definitely go back to La Colina and recommend to our friends.
