“Pollards family trip” The place was great, clean, comfortable and safe. The sunset and view of the gulf was breath taking and the price was worth the house, Mrs McMillan was very helpful and caring calling all the way from New York City to make sure all our needs were met. “Our Spirits were renewed!” Things don't happen by chance! Little did we know six months ago when we booked our vacation how much we would really, really NEED a quiet and peaceful week! This little corner of Marathon is exactly that: quiet and peaceful. The condo is very comfortably furnished, very clean, and the view is - well, I don't think there is a 'better' view anywhere! It's picture perfect - even to the gorgeous green iguana on the palm tree! (but you have to look quick - they move fast!). We had our son, daughter in law and two little grandkids with us...it was perfect! Sunrise with coffee by the pool, under the Chickee or on the patio...awesome! Lots to do for families or singles very close by...yup...you really can even have pizza delivered if you don't want delicious, fresh seafood!..and wow! are there some awesome spots for that!! Communication with the owners is impeccable...could NOT be better. These are the folks with whom you love to do business!! Thanks so much, Todd and Jamie!

“Wonderful Vacation! Amazing home” What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

“Perfect!” Visited DR for my daughter's senior Spring Break. While most chose an all-inclusive resort, we wanted the space/freedom of a condo, and Ilia's place did not disappoint... a really special and absolutely perfect vacation! Rental, arrival and check-in were streamlined and simple, and Ilia's driver, manager and maid were all very helpful and welcoming. The condo itself is lovely -- photos are accurate -- and well-located within the complex. The balcony has an unimpeded view of the ocean just a few steps away, and you are also steps from one of the pools. Morning coffee or evening wine with that view + the sound of the ocean = perfection! The complex, including a private stretch of beach, is beautifully maintained, and we never had a problem finding a beach lounger with a direct view of the ocean, whether on the sand or in the shade. Guards on the beach keep away non-residents and the more aggressive vendors (but not the ladies selling massages in the shed next door -- highly recommend!). Activities can be purchased on the beach or from a condo resident. Kids enjoyed ziplining and parasailing. Dining options in the area are fabulous! Within a 1-10 minute walk of the complex are numerous restaurants with great, eager to please service and very affordable prices. Didn't have a bad meal all week, but our favorites were Citrus and Pastrata. Also liked the French bakery across the street, despite the unwelcoming service...Everyone else we encountered, though, was lovely, and we appreciated their help with our dreadful Spanish! For nightlife, there are numerous beach bars, but daughter really enjoyed joining the locals at Danny's across the street from the complex. Sidenote: Friends at the aI resort were told it was dangerous to go off property, but we found this completely untrue...walked everywhere at all hours and never felt unsafe. Our group (both kids and adults!) agreed that a condo -- this condo -- was definitely the way to go. Thanks Ilia and crew!

“A true escape” My partner & I spent a week in the annex recently. The location is wonderful in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting very close to the beach and the beach bar and with great views of Knocknarea, which is a worthwhile climb or for a longer walk do the 15km walk which takes in the climb starting & finishing in Strandhill. The area is an ideal base for walking. We walked the Sligo Way over 3 days, starting in Lough Talt & finishing 73kms later in Dromahair. Beautiful & varying scenery all along the way. If 3 days is not for you any section of this way is breathtaking. Closer to home is the aughris Head/Dunmoran Strand Walk, a gorgeous cliff walk. The annex itself is comfortable and we enjoyed the added peace as there was noone staying in the attaching beach house while we were there until the last 2 nights, waking up each morning to just the sound of cows & sheep, a real escape.

“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook,and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.

“Jungle living in a modern loft” I stayed in loft 2 for 3 nights of my honeymoon and it was awesome. The 150" Hdtv only has 1 channel, the ocean channel (ok so it's really a massive open window with amazing views of the atlantic). It was amazing to feel the breeze blow through and if it rains at night, it's like being in the heart of the jungle, except you don't get wet. The rooftop terrace was wonderful and being able to see both the atlantic to the north and Caribbean sea to the south was great. This place is for people who love nature and the out doors but also like some modern conveniences and amazing views. We ate at alex's new restaurant at Hector's by the sea (open for dinner on Sunday and Monday) and were blown away. The setting was incredible, but the food was even better. If you get the chance, take it.

“Private quiet Hillside Paradise with amazing Sunsets from inside” We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vahimanui!!! The Villa was very well equipped and we were totally comfortable during our stay. The Internet worked perfectly & it was nice to have the Dvds, Music & books available for our relaxation when we were not out and about. Pierre's advance explanation was extremely helpful for us to be prepared in so many ways! We enjoyed shopping with the locals at the market and exploring the island with the freedom of having the car transportation. Which made our visit to Bora Bora much more in depth than we could have ever have had staying on a Motu Resort. Many of the visiting couples we talked to felt very isolated and definitely were missing so many of our experience's. The view from the Villa is truly breathtaking! We got used to the many stairs pretty quickly and my husband is amazing at parking so he had no problem parking in the car park. His years driving and parking in San Francisco was good training! Nathalie took excellent care in preparing the "spotless" Villa for our arrival and picking us up exactly on time. Once we arrived at the Villa Nathalie took us directly up to show us around and gave us personal instruction on use of the villa. She offered to assist us if we needed anything to make our visit more enjoyable right through to our on time departure back to the Ferry dock where we waved farewell! We noticed during our travels around the island that the locals tend to be a bit relaxed in their work ethic but you are lucky to have found a gem having Nathalie & Barthemey as your caretaker's & guest liaison's!!! Certainly a fantastic destination in "Paradise". Perfect location for our 28th anniversary, It was a very "Special & Memorable" stay on Bora Bora! Ps- We too were concerned about wiring the rental payment overseas to a foreign country as you are warned not to do! But as with everything else stated in these reviews & in several advance emails to & from Pierre in preparation for our trip we had no problem's!!

“Amazing!” This house is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect! DeLayne is a gracious host and provided us with a very comfortable home. The beach is stunning! “Perfect Getaway at the Kokomo” We rented the Kokomo Beach House in Casuarino Point for 9 days and was so totally impressed with the place that we felt like we were at home...everything you could possibly need or want was at the house. The house is beautifully decorated and the view from the front porch is priceless. We spent endless days and nights sitting on the porch enjoying a cocktail or two and just enjoying the view. The beach is a gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise waters to swim, paddle or boat on...walks on the beach in the early morning to the point to watch the sunrise were peaceful and beautiful...sunsets were watched right from our porch or out in front of the place on the beach...you get the best of both worlds from this location. Marsh Harbour is about 15 miles away, but this gives you the opportunity to pick up groceries, etc. while you are in town and enjoy grilling and making your meals back at the house. A very much needed fun relaxing trip was had by the 4 of us and highly recommend the renting of the Kokomo Beach House or one of Kathy's other 3 houses on Casuarino Point!

“Breathtakingly beautiful” From the morning sunrises with coffee on the lanai to the afternoon/evenings watching the turtles this place is simply amazing. It is very quiet away from the hustle and bustle of being near all the hotels yet very centrally located and easy to get anywhere on the island. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back. This will be our Maui home unless we do something crazy and invest in our own piece of paradise

“Beautifully presented and equipped property.” Certainly the best self-catering property we have ever had.No downsides to it, everything about this is a1. The master bedroom in particular is stunning, but on the whole the attention to detail in every aspect from cutlery to furnishings is fantastic. Also worthy of mention is the very friendly approach of the owner who is a pleasure to deal with. Cold weather at New Year limited our useage of the outdoor facilities, but the view from the garden is fantastic. Crail itself is a lovely location.
