“Pet-Friendly Destingation” As a 'Pet-Blogger', I am always looking for great places to holiday with our two dogs Henry, and Reese. More specifically, somewhere we can 'enjoy' with the dogs without having to worry about what to do with them when we visit restaurants, shops or go sightseeing. The Dolphin Inn was the perfect place to stay! This trip was arranged as a group get together; my husband, parents, in-laws and sister with her husband and two small children. The spacious accommodation meant no one felt as if they were tripping over one another. Although we didn't eat evening meals as a group, we enjoyed breakfast together at a large table located beside the spacious kitchen on the upper level. Because of the layout and quiet location of the Inn, we were comfortable leaving Henry and Reese to relax comfortably when we went out to do 'people only' things. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions regarding things to do and see in the area. Upon arrival we found guides with locations and contact information, as well as preferred rates on several activities for guests of the Inn. I am happy to recommend The Dolphin Inn to groups or families with or without dogs!

“Amazing!” This house is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect! DeLayne is a gracious host and provided us with a very comfortable home. The beach is stunning! “This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “rest,relax,recharge” It's a Beautiful home that has all the modern conveniences. It's quiet, quaint and had just what I needed to get away from it all. I enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck among the trees and afternoon walks in the woods. A perfect place to recharge.

“Imperial Beach Condo” If I can break this condo on a 1 to 10 scale at 20 I would. Sue Kennedy was so easy to work with. When we first got to the condo, also we have to do is punch in the number she gave us and we were in! Then once in the condo I was in awe at how beautiful it was!!Once I opened up the patio doors p( (there were two patios in this condo!!), I couldn’t believe that all I had to do was walk about 10 feet and I was on the beach!!) Oh, I forgot to mention that anything you would need is there at the condo for you (eg paper towels, toilet paper, body boards, chairs, extra blankets and pillows etc. ) The condo is about a half a mile from the imperial Beach pier, which is great because you can walk to it and also your quiet enough in the evening. I highly recommend this condo for anyone who is interested in being right on the beach, having local restaurants nearby, and having a quiet evening watching the sunset.

“A Forest Bungalow!” My family and I had a great time at Ptarmigan, Big Mountain-Whitefish, MT. We did it all! Went to Glacier National Park, enjoyed Big Mountain, toured the town and relaxed in the hottub! Our favorite part was making meals in a house in the woods. It was so magical being surrounded by cedar trees on a mountainside. Thanks for the memorable stay!

“Great location, clean and comfortable.” I spent a weekend with friends and we all enjoyed the cottage. It was very clean and quiet. It accommodated four adults comfortably and has all the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, complete with good tasting city water you can drink from the tap and strong water pressure. The Smart TV in the living room with wifi provided entertainment for music and movies. And there's a nice kitchen table for games and meals. In addition to the comforts, the location is really great. The cottage is beachfront and has large windows giving you a view of Lake Huron from both the living room and Kitchen. Depending on your plans for the weekend, it really is the perfect spot for a girls' weekend such as I did, or I could see bringing my family here, or booking it with another small family. I stayed during Winter, but I noticed there are some nice swings, a fire pit, and the beach for long walks to make a summer stay fun. There's also a party store across the street and a full grocery store a quick drive away. We ordered pizza one night and that was convenient too. I definitely plan to stay again and would recommend it to others.
