“Perfect getaway to wine country!” Recently a group of my friends and I went up to Paso Robles for a girls wine weekend away. This rental exceeded all our expectations. We were unsure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised in every way possible. The unit is immaculately kept and the grounds are beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice! We loved that we were close enough to town and the wineries to enjoy everything Paso has to offer but we were far enough out of town that we really felt like we could relax and just enjoy our vacation in the country. The backyard area just begs for you to savor a morning cup of coffee while chatting with dear friends. At night we enjoyed wine under the many stars you can see out there from the cozy comfort of the jacuzzi. The owners are so super friendly and can answer any questions you may have about the area. My ladies and I are already planning our next trip back up there and we can't wait!

“Relax in Luxury!” This amazing, modern home has it all! It is perfectly comfortable in every way. Every detail has been lovingly thought of...from the excellent bedding and furnishings to the beautiful work of a professional interior designer. The views are astounding and the quiet retreat is a special gift of the fabulous location. We saw many deer and other wildlife during our relaxing stay. It's a short walk to downtown Paso Robles and dozens of friendly wineries are scattered among the beautiful rolling hills.

About Paso Robles

Just like the well-known neighboring areas of Napa and Sonoma, Paso Robles is one of the stretches of endless beautiful vineyard country along California's Central Coast. It's summer all year long here and the climate is uniquely Mediterranean, with cool ocean breezes, gently changing weather and perfect soil for the cultivation of popular wine varieties. This land that once welcomed cowboys and Spanish missionaries now lures wine and culinary enthusiasts as well as couples on romantic holidays.

Join the many visitors who come here every year to hike the trails to scenic pastoral overlooks, take carriage tours through the vineyards, and go shopping in the quaint historic areas of downtown Paso Robles. This area makes a perfect family vacation destination with its pristine beaches and family friendly museums. No matter what you're looking for in a California vacation, you'll find it in Paso Robles. Come here to relax, enjoy the ocean air and make lasting memories.

Here are a few additional suggestions as you plan your trip:

  • Take a culinary and winery tour: Sample the best offerings of the world class restaurants of California, and taste the wines produced by the unique soil and climate of Central Coast vineyards.
  • Spend a day at the Ravine Water Park: The waterslides and wave pools here offer an exciting way to splash the hot afternoon away, especially if you're traveling with children.
  • Play a round of golf: In addition to its beautiful vineyards, the central coast is also home to some emerald green champion caliber golf courses like Links Course of Paso Robles and Hunter Ranch.
  • Visit the Children's Museum at the Paso Robles Firehouse: This popular hands-on educational museum offers another great activity for children.
  • Visit the Paso Robles Pioneer Museum: Learn more about the Native American and Spanish Missionary History of California's Central Coast through the interactive displays of the Pioneer Museum.
  • Enjoy the nightlife: Experience the laid back, friendly nightlife of Paso Robles. The Pony Club and Bistro Laurent are elegant but warm and welcoming, like many venues here.

No matter what season of the year you choose to plan your trip to Paso Robles, you'll have no trouble finding a place to stay. Choose a luxury condo close to the heart of the nightlife and shopping areas, or look for a summer home or elegant coastal villa with views of the ocean.

46W wine country Guest House & Saloon
Great place to spend a few nights (or more)

We had an amazing two night stay at the guesthouse and did not want to leave! The guesthouse is a well appointed studio, with everything you need and without stuff you don't need (TV). The saloon is close to the guesthouse and serves as a great place to eat dinner and have drinks into the evening (if it is too chilly on the deck). The rest of our time was spent on the deck or down the hillside in the two adirondack chairs watching the hawks fly overhead. There are at least four or five wineries within walking distance (even though we only made it to two). This property is well maintained, quiet, private, and an overall great find. We will definitely be back.see more

Home away from home...

Don't expect a traditional B&B.; This is a house: 3 BR, 2 Ba, kitchen with every cooking utensil you'd ever want, DR and LR, all decorated wonderfully and comfortably. Great for 2 couples or parents w/ kids tho might be a little crowded for 3 couples (sign up for bath use in the am) tho the Br's are full-sized. The hostess, Debra, is friendly and helpful while not intrusive. You make your own beds and take out your trash. It's a home away from home, not a hotel. The home is located behind the owners and completely private with your own backyard with beautiful landscaping, several sitting areas, a BBQ and a Jacuzzi. The Internet service is good, if you need it, but we found telephone reception to be spotty. Tv cable too tho we didn't use it. It's located on the east side of the east side of Paso, 8-10 miles from town which was not a problem for us -- rural was wonderful -- but might be a consideration for those wanting every convenience next door. I'd also like to recommend visiting the east-side wineries. Most are small and compete well with the west-side. We enjoyed exploring and making new finds. Evenings allow for Milky Way viewing. What else can one say other than we'll be back next year.see more

Beautiful home!

This home is Beautiul with all the amenities needed for a fun and relaxing vacation! I went with a group of 8 adults, we Bbqed and enjoyed the large outdoor seating area with a view. The next day we hired a limo company, Lush, and went wine tasting at many local wineries. It was a fun and memorable stay in Paso.see more
