“Paradise...check” My family found paradise ...Playa Hermosa. A very quaint town not overly run with tourist attractions. This condo was amazing. It was clean and comfortable with many fantastic amenities. We grilled out during a big football game here in the states. We swam laps and splashed around in the clean and quiet pool just feet from the condo. We were able to capture beautiful sunsets from the second floor balcony. The property staff also gave us limes and bananas picked on site that morning. A few step from the condo gets you to the ocean where the waves are crashing and the monkeys are playing over head. The on-site managers were friendly, kind, and very helpful suggesting things to do and see. The area was very safe. We all agreed we will return!

“Lovely, private, inspirational home” I stayed here with my husband, teen daughter and 2, 20 something year old kids. The house is about 20 min from the airport, 5 minutes to the grocery store and restaurants and beaches, but still very private. It is everything you would want in a tropical getaway - Clean, cool, open and welcoming. We used the whole house and found it to be very comfortable - the beds were VERY comfortable. We spent the cooler parts of the day on the patios and enjoyed the incredible, unbeatable views to the ocean. In fact, my favorite part of the vacation was spending the early morning sipping delicious Costa Rican coffee on the balcony while listening to the countryside awake. The local manager, Myra, was very helpful, accommodating and available. She was able to secure a cook for us one night so we could have the "typical" dinner - delicious. Please note: the scary looking dirt road UP the hillside led us to the house. It's a very short ascent, but you will need a 4 wheel drive, or at least a larger car to make it up - we got used to it after a couple of days, but we had a good car and got a lot of experience on dirt roads with our travels around the country during the week. This house would be great for a large gathering, multiple families or a party!

“Peace of mind and close to everything...” I am a travel agent here in the country and I like to explore with the family new options so I can recommend places to clients and friends. Villas Casa Loma is a great place where you can find a relaxing atmosphere,large Villas with beds for all participants if needed, great pools for the entire family and a full Kitchen so you can do your own meals. “Paradise Perfection” 5 STAR - Top notch accommodations! We could not have asked for a better place to stay! Clean, comfortable (beds were fantastic) & perfectly decorated. The hospitality both before & during our stay was above average! The beachfront villa had the most breath taking view & private lagoon style setting with black sand that glistened from the sun like gold just steps from the front door. “beautiful house, great location, secluded beach” This was the perfect spot for our get together with long time friends to celebrate my mom's birthday. The owners were extremely helpful with making arrangements and even custom built a ramp for my mom who is disabled to access the condo! The location was perfect for our 3 year old-we were literally steps away from the pool and family friendly restaurant. The beach, also steps away, was secluded, safe for swimming and great for snorkeling -turtles came up and laid eggs on the beach three nights during our stay. The condo was equipped with beach toys, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The condo was spacious, has a great kitchen and open floor plan downstairs. We loved sitting on the patio early in the morning and listening to the howler monkeys and watching the sunset while we cooked up fresh caught fish. It was so nice to feel like when we arrived we didn't have to go anywhere else- and for a couple days we didn't -we just enjoyed our little piece of paradise! We hope to return again soon!

“Unforgettable views and experience” We arrived back in the States on early Monday morning, and our regular work and family routine immediately slapped us in the face. What a harsh reality check after our amazing Costa Rican vacation! We had a fantastic time in Guanacaste, and Cass Fiesta was everything we imagined it would be - and a little bit more. The views were indescribably gorgeous. I would have been content to sit on the upper deck or poolside all day long and watch the sunshine and clouds change throughout the day. Casa Fiesta was such an incredibly relaxing setting. The house itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy an extended stay. It feels like a remote and exotic location, but the beach, groceries, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. The pool was a refreshing respite from the afternoon sun, and the hilltop temperatures were very comfortable - especially in the evening while enjoying sunset and twilight. The howler monkey calls and exotic bird fly-bys in the morning were enjoyed immensely on the deck while sipping coffee. Simply amazing. Casa Fiesta also benefits tremendously from Diego and Jennifer's presence. We especially enjoyed Jennifer's meal (arguably the best we had all week!) and Diego's sage advice. Diego also took us whitewater rafting on very short notice and arranged everything. We couldn't have done it without him. As our vacation transitioned to other locations in Guanacaste, I found myself missing the scenic view from Casa Fiesta and wished we could have spent the entire duration on the seaside mountaintop overlooking Portrero. Thanks again for accommodating us, and we look forward to planning our next Costa Rican journey at some point in the not-too-distant future.

“Best villa and hosts one could hope for.” I stayed at Villa El Sueno de Ocotal for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery is spectacular. The room was very well maintained and in excellent condition. All the amenities as stated.. I think the best thing about staying at Villa El Sueno de Ocotal were the hosts. Calin and Silvia are excellent hosts and extremely caring people. If there was anything that you needed, Calin would make sure that you had it and always makes sure that you are well cared for and greeted upon arrival and departure. Silvia always had a ready smile for you. Would definitely recommend this villa. Only negative things were the isolation (easily resolved with a car) and the steep driveway but you wouldn't get the view unless you were located higher up the hills. Thanks again, Calin and Silvia. “Satisfying,safe and friendly.” My wife and I have stayed here several times. We usually stay for four to six weeks. Affordable, beautiful landscaping and within walking distance of the ocean. Lots of birds on and around the property. Great views of the ocean to the west and mountains to the east. Centrally located to several national parks. Makes a good home base for daily or two to three day trips exploring Costa Rica. The pool is large and well mantianed. The owners are great host and the help is top notch.

“Spectacular!” Playa Flamingo is such a great destination and Villas Casa Loma in particular is the Best place to stay in the region. Within minutes you can chose to be on the beach, in a charming beach villiage, zip lining, surfing, hiking, horseback riding, or enjoying an aTV tour. The dining options in this area is incredible and the choices are many and varied and within minutes of VCL. You can reserve an entire villa, or just a suite of rooms, or bring all of your family and friends and take over the whole place like we did for Spring Break last year. I am a frequent visitor to Costa Rica and I highly recommend Villas Casa Loma to anyone planning a trip to the Guanacaste Region. Tom and Igor are incredibly dedicated to each and every guest and the lovely grounds and accomadations are proof of their love of Costa Rica and their "Paradise Retreat". “Happy repeat visitor!” What a great place to visit in Guanacaste! This time we have stayed for 10 days in a Villa No 2 with breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding greenery. There are flowers everywhere and birds and butterflies.This was not our first visit. We loved it before and came back more than once.Photographs on the web site represent this property accurately. The rooms are large with complete kitchen facilities, and everything is well maintained and clean. Owners are very helpful and go beyond the call of duty. Pools are large and very well maintained. We have recommended this property to many friends and many have come for a visit here as well. There are great beaches nearby, great restaurants, nearby volcanos, incredible spas and sanctuaries,zip line attractions,horse back riding...just a perfect vacation...a place to get away from it all. We always enjoy our visit and will come back again.

“Wonderful Piece of Paradise” We stayed here from May 13-20 in villa 204. It was clean, well kept and extremely spacious! Wonderful views of the surrounding hills, Playa Flamingo, bay and ocean. Tom and Igor were very knowledgeable and gracious hosts. The grounds and pools were constantly being manicured and cleaned. We didn't use air conditioning during our stay as the villa had many ceiling fans to keep the air moving and was very comfortable, even with it being 40+C in the sunshine! The kitchen was well stocked with all the required items for cooking. We even used the BBQ which was just a quick walk down some stairs, which would make it very central for all guests to use not matter which villa you stayed in. Lots of thought has gone into the planning of their piece of paradise and would highly recommend staying here. There is a small grocery store on the main road to Playa Flamingo, just a 2 min drive, that had all the basics required for food and drink. Many great restaurants in the area and it was easy to navigate from LIR airport. The city of Liberia is about 1 - 1 hour 15 mins away. Tamarindo was about 20-30 mins away. You've inspired us to start thinking about our piece of paradise!

“Escape to Paradise” We have recently returned from a memorable 10 days and 9 nights at the Villas Casa Loma. We stayed in Villa 3 which is situated dramatically on the side of a mountain with spectacular views from every window. In the back there are mountains with tropical vegetation and through all the other windows you can see the ocean.. There is a veranda with breath taking views of the ocean, mountains and a picturesque bay with sailboats. Every night we could watch the sunset in a blaze of color. Igor and Tom built the villa using native materials with soaring wood ceilings and gorgeous stone and woodwork. Every villa is uniquely decorated. Our villa had a long counter with chairs all on one side, cleverly facing the ocean. It was the dry season so the flowering trees and bushes were in full bloom and it was very hot. Igor and Tom had thought of everything for our comfort. We had multiple ceiling fans in every room and even on the veranda. There was air conditioning which we did need during the afternoons. We are swimmers so really appreciated the large pools and found time everyday where the pool was completely empty! Tom and Igor were perfect hosts and offered assistance in so many ways. The sent us to great local restaurants: Angelina's, Marie's, Carlos y Carlos, and Mar y Sol to name a few. The seafood is some of the best we have ever had. Tom, Igor and some of their other friendly guests advised us about beaches and towns to visit nearby. We vacationed with our daughter and her husband who had their own private room and bathroom with it's own entrance down a few steps from our villa. This was the perfect arrangement so they could have privacy, yet share our kitchen and veranda and spend time with us. We would absolutely recommend the Villas Casa Loma. In fact we have told all our friends are are worried they will all go and there won't be room for us!
