“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Very cozy!” We very much enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room and it was well decorated. I absolutely loved the couch, it was very comfortable, and the hot tub was a favorite. The fireplace added a nice touch for the evening, and we were provided with everything we could've needed. Thanks for the great stay!

“Super Friendly” Great folks running this place. They really give the home town experience with amenities of a major hotel. This property is right next to a beautiful lake. The options are great for either the relaxed weekend or if you want to water skiing or out on a boat to fish it is all there. Really pleased with vacation this has turned into and relaxation is the key!

“Love Point Retreat” I stayed at Paula's property 3 times so far. We stayed once in October 2014 and twice in April 2015. Here is how I would break it up: Owner: Paula is very nice, accommodating and extremely responsive. She was easy to deal with, answered all of our questions and concerns timely. Property (Interior): The property is really clean and very well maintained considering its age. I also feel that it is properly stocked with all the necessities. Property (Outdoor Space / View): We spend the majority of our time there outside. The deck / backyard area is very well maintained and stocked with adequate furniture. We used the gas grill every day of our stay. The dock is set up nicely for fishing including rod holders and a light for night fishing. The view from the dock is to die for, the Bay is so wide and the Bay Bridge is a nice backdrop to the view specially during sunset. Fishing: Fishing is the best I have ever experienced (compared to all other rentals I tried). I caught numerous species from the dock including Spot, White Perch and of course Striped Bass (Rockfish). I caught my biggest Rockfish ever from the dock there (39 inch fish, roughly 30 pounds) in April. Overall, I love the property, the view and the peaceful surroundings. A great bonus for me is the short one hour commute to get there. We will definitely be back to Love Point for an encore.

“great for the price” Location was great, nice and quiet street and walking distance to the beach and bay. You don't need a car, you can bike almost anywhere. The best part about this place is that is has so many items to use, bikes, chairs, boogies, kayak, so for the price you get a lot. Mission beach is a great place to vacation.

“Cabin Birthday Retreat” Couldn't have picked a better place for 3 friends to celebrate their 25th birthday while meeting each others friends. Stayed inside to great food and drinks and the 2014 winter olympics. Furniture recently updated, cabin was more than spacious, even if you had 14 people. All the supplies you would need are located within the cabin and anything else you may need as far as questions or accommodations the owners were more than happy to assist with. Roads were even paved for us after a cold and snowy chicago winter. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and secluded weekend getaway from the city life. Will definitely be back again!
