“Friendly place” Warm and inviting hosts. Great breakfast. Not as private as some other guest houses we have tried (shared bathroom with other guests and shared kitchen with hosts) but works well for a shorter stay. Pretty close to the airport.

“Amazing Experience for Someone Traveling alone” My trip to Barbados was my first out of North america and I was traveling alone to see friends in St James and St Michael. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was I close to my friends, I was close to everything else...the grocery store, the beach and the bus stop. My apartment was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need, a pool outside the door complete with bbq and many lounge chairs. I enjoyed reading in the sun on my balcony and meeting the other guests. The staff were amazing and we had many chats during my stay. Errol was amazing and provided for my every need. Will definitely be going again and staying in these amazing apartments when I do!

“Peaceful, tranquil and reinvigorating” Excellent service from check-in with safe and secure parking facility. The apartment was well kept, clean, with good housekeeping and amenities and available telephone service. Easy access to the town and places of interest. If you are looking for peace, tranquillity and lovely beaches, this is a place you should choose.

“Home away from home” This place is totally comfortable. It's well furnished and clean. The owners are very helpful.It's located close to beaches and other conveniences. Oistins is very close. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Barbados because it's really good value for money!

“Lovely Barbadian apartment” Enjoyed our stay in Villa Sunlight,it is only a short walk from the bus top, and several local bars.Dover beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. It easy to get to the fish fry at Oistins on the bus and Miami beach just past Oistins is great, local food stalls plenty of shade and great swimming! The apartment has a nice veranda to sit out on and seating in the garden. Plenty of space for 4 people, big kitchen, good size bedrooms and plenty of hanging space.

“Anniversary Get away x” Would just like to give a massive thanks to Sheila for an amazing accommodation for myself and my wife to spend our 7th year wedding anniversary, also would like to give a mention to Ron who greeted us with open arms and made our stay a comfortable one, where can I start, Barbados is already like a second home to us from our very first visit, from the beautiful beaches just a minutes walk away down the lane, to the amazing culture of Oistins, the friendly fun buses that took us around the Island for just a few dollars. While we stayed in Barbados a family member was married here and believe me it will be a memory that stays with me for a life time, it was great to have the Shelsea just a stones throw away, to come back to an amazing Villa that just had the feeling of coming back home, spacious, stylish and well maintained, ha speaking of that hope we didn't get the gardener to drunk as he shared a glass of rum with us. An action packed, yet very relaxing stay for us at the Shelsea, a great hammock in the garden of Shelsea for that relaxing afternoon nap, after touring the Island, there are so many things I could recommend for people to do, Turtle swimming, Rockley Golf Club, Harrison Caves, Boat Trips and many, many more. Thanks again Shelia for a fabulous stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely be returning in the very near future x

“Wonderful Barbados villa” For the past 5 years we have spent the winter months of January, February & March here in Sunset Crest, Holetown, Barbados. The last 2 years here at Mangoes, which meets our every need. Close to beach, beach house, shopping and many restaurants all within easy walking distance. With 3 bedrooms it easily accommodates us and our adult children when they come for a visit. This is our second year here and have already booked for next year.

“Wish we could keep it a secret . . .” . . .but that wouldn't be fair. I don't know where to begin to accurately describe how much this villa exceeded our expectations. Nadine and Ian made the booking process effortless. The entire village is immaculately clean and the villa itself is impeccably decorated with every possible convenience. Having my french-press coffee each morning on the side deck with a view of lush gardens and mango trees while watching the birds, monkeys, lizards, and other assorted wildlife was such a wonderful way to begin the day. My husband, John, and I spent countless after-beach hours in the beautiful pool which we nicknamed "the womb" due to it's ideal temperature. Mullins beach for lounging/swimming is a short walk and Port St. Charles reef for incredible snorkeling is also easily accessible. Though we did not require the services of anita and Dave during our stay (we lacked for nothing!), we knew they were available if we needed either of them for any assistance. And Jamaal was so amiable and attentive that we felt he was our personal bartender. We vacationed with family and friends who had accomodations elsewhere and all agreed that Barbados-Dreaming was incomparable. John and I are definitely dreaming about our return. Our warmest thanks to Nadine and Ian, Anita and Dave, Jamaal, Sophia, and others who helped make this trip outstanding.

“Fabulous Holiday” I fell in love with Barbados when Christy picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the beach - silver sand, turquoise sea, superb rum punch and friendly locals. What a start to the holiday! Since then Christy has set up her own holiday business and we have stayed at her apartments several times. The family unit was a great success for our extended family - ages from 5 - 85. Short drive to the wonderful Carlyle Bay and easy walk for the younger ones. Quickly became expert in the Bajan "hello" (easy lift of right hand from elbow in greeting and smile) and generally lazing'. We are going back next year.

“Loved it!” My husband and I have stayed at this unit five times over the past few years and each time we visit, it feels like we're returning to our old neighbourhood. The unit is very well equipped, very clean and the bed is so comfortable. No need for air conditioning as the constant trade wind breeze and the sounds of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. We loved sitting out on the balcony - very roomy with plenty of room to lounge and read a book and also large enough to have other guests stop by for cocktails or dinner - we had a dinner party for 8 and there was enough of room. And the view of the ocean is amazing! By the way, we hired a local woman to cater a dinner party for us one night and it was absolutely incredible.Flying fish, pumpkin fritters, fresh salad...mmm! When staying in Barbados - this is the place to go!

“Wonderful” We have stayed here 3 times now and can't wait to return. Everyone you deal with are lovely. The unit is great. 4 th floor end unit with perfect view and privacy. The beach and pool are quiet with very few other people around. Rainbow coral has a modern and updated kitchen. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Free wifi, cable television, and garage parking underneath the building. We always rent a car and it is so easy to get all over the Island and the airport is less than 15 minutes away....For the price you cannot do better!

“Great Condo on Beach for Vacation Rental” Condo is even nicer than photos. A very spacious and relaxing 3 bedroom condo on Dover beach. End unit so master bedroom and patio has a wrap around view - a bonus. However, could be a little noisy with music on Friday nights from beach bar next door as at public beach entrance however, music only heard outside from patio, not when inside condo. Condo was very clean through out and the Condo building was very well maintained and secure. All staff encountered, including anita were warm and very helpful. Great location, just off the St. Lawrence Gap and lots of nearby restaurants and the like (ideally you would need to rent a car). Would recommend 100%
