“Perfect!” My husband and I stayed here in April 2015 with our 10yr. old daughter. The Condo was perfect. Very tastefully decorated, and very clean. The owner took a lot of thinking into everyone's needs that would be staying here. Both bathrooms were stocked with multiple toiletries, all kitchen appliances necessary, including coolers for the beach. Beach chairs, beach towels, games, baby equipment and the list goes on. The location was absolutely perfect. We rented a car so did a lot of exploring but if you do not rent a car, you will not miss it. Everything you need is within walking distance or a very short taxi ride for groceries. I was a little worried about the condo being so close to the airport, although very convenient, I thought it would be somewhat of a disturbance with the airplanes flying over. We never even noticed the airplanes! That was not an issue. We had soooo much wonderful food in Puerto Rico but I must say, One of my very favorite things was walking down the beach, to the left and getting fish taco's. It is about 1 block down from condo if you are facing the ocean. We like fine dining and have tried fish tacos from all over, even the ones from Cabo do not compare with these. We were skeptical at first, but you will not regret or "get sick" if you try! The leasing agent and owner both were very friendly and very timely will all responses. Comparing this condo to a hotel, you can not beat the price. We normally stay in luxury hotels but because our daughter was with us, we did not spend the extra money. We made an excellent choice and would absolutely stay here again.

“Calypso condo stay was paradise!!!” We recently returned from a weeks vacation to St. Croix where we stayed at Calypso Condo C-2 in the gated community of Gentle Winds and had a fabulous time!!! The condo was immaculate upon arrival and Angela, the unit manager, stocked us with some groceries I requested so we didn't have to go out at night when we first arrived. There were six of us and with the three bedrooms, three bathrooms, three balconies and the loft area we did not feel crowded. Barbara, the owner, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and a home away from home. The book Life in the Left Lane, the bottle of champagne in the fridge, the starfish necklaces and the gift certificate to the Snack shack were complimentary gifts to us for staying there. It was a vey nice finishing touch by Barbara and very much appreciated. The kitchen was very well-equipped. There were so many books, Wii games, VHS movies, DVDs, and board games for all ages to choose from. It was nice having a grill to cookout on since we don't always like to eat out and as we found out food in St. Croix is expensive. I would definitely come back to St. Croix and stay at Calypso Condo again in a heartbeat !!!! The view was breathtaking, the beach gorgeous and the pool refreshing. The grounds at Gentle Winds were beautifully kept and the people there including the guard, the groundskeepers, and the woman who ran the Snack Shack were very polite. Staying there in early June had its benefits. I truly felt we had the whole place to ourselves. Besides us there were maybe 6 units out of 65 that were occupied at the time. No fighting for chaise lounges at the beach or pool.. A nice perk of the off season. Before leaving for St. Croix Barbara made sure we had directions from the airport to the condo and how to access the lockbox should the unit be locked. She also stressed checking out her website which had extremely helpful tips and suggestions one should know before arriving. I was also impressed that early on in our stay Barbara called and sent me an email checking in with us to see that everything was going well. We did so many fun activities while in St. Croix- stand up paddle boarding , snorkeling, kayaking, relaxing on the beach, shopping in Christiansted, touring the Cruzan Rum Factory, watching the sunset at Off the Wall restaurant while playing bingo and watching the sunrise at Point Udall. Needless to say we were all very sad to leave but have so many fond memories and beautiful pictures.

“Great communication with owner and awesome condo with beautiful” Mercedes was very helpful with the booking and process to rent the condo. We stayed for one week with another couple. Plenty of room and updated kitchen. Balcony was great. We sat out there in the morning and evening and watched the boats go by. Location is right next to some great local restaurants and across from a marina where you can take a snorkeling day trip. Less than 10 minutes to the beach. We would highly recommend renting this unit.

“Great Location” The condo is great. And the location couldn't be better. The pictures are accurate and the accomodations comfortable. I travelled with three girl friends and we never felt cramped. Judith was helpful and made sure that we had a great time. The building is on the beach and includes a lovely swimming pool. There are palm trees for those looking for shade and the water is crystal clear. Lots of local restaurants and bars. Check out Mi Casita for good local food. Also Rubens serves a good, cheap breakfast. The Pueblo grocery store is walking distance (by Embassy Suites) and Walgreens is across the street.

“Perfect place to stay!” My daughter and I stayed in this studio condo for a little over a week and it was perfect. It's right on the beach, I fell asleep every night to the sound of the ocean; pure heaven! We had no issues finding the place thanks to Joe and his well organized maps and directions. Joe even sent us information we requested for our stay on the island. I never felt safer than this place, it was a good feeling being that it was just my teen daughter and I. The studio provided every comfort we could require for a home away from home and the decor was pefect (bright and cheery) for a stay on the ocean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows (one of my necessities when I travel). You don't need to bring any beach towels so you can save the precious space in your suitcase to bring back souvenirs! The laundry is $2 a wash and dry so it's kind of pricey but it was nice to have the facility. I cannot tell you how much money we saved by not having to pay resort fees and parking; not to mention the hotel costs in the area for this prime location. The Marriott was right across the street and you can use their pool for a fee but why use a pool when the beach is right there! There is a Walgreen's a block away and it has everything you would need (even light grocery's). Traveling the island is easy. I rented a car and had no problem getting around with my Garmin I brought along. We went to every part of this island except the SouthWest part. We scuba, snorkeled, hiked, rappelled, and ziplined. You must visit Culebra and spend time on Flamenco beach, bring your snorkel gear,visit the history in Ponce, visit the fort and spend some time in Old San Juan. The food is cheap if you get out of Condado. There's some great restaurants a few minutes south in Guavate. Buy some fruit on the side of the road if you travel out of San Juan and support the locals, it's cheap and oh so good. We will definitely be back and stay at this condo. “Great Downtime in San Juan” Unit was perfect for a getaway week in San Juan. We were on the beach every day which provided warm water, sun, and shade. Condo was perfect size for us, and on 15th floor very safe, quiet, and private. Had everything we needed, washer-dryer, etc. Building employees very courteous and helpful. Variety of restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. We did not have to rent a car. We ate breakfast and lunch in condo, then ate dinner out every day. Pool deck is beautiful and health club a big plus. Overall great place to relax, chill out, and enjoy the ambiance.
