“Allesandra with friends” The villa view is spectacular, all day every day. It's an easy, short drive from Cruz Bay. The entrance and parking are easy and roomy. The house is well appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen in the great room space. Security is good for those that want to visit the beaches, and the deck and pool encourage villa-gravity. The 2 main bedrooms are ay oposite ends of the house providing a quite escape for 2 couples. As always, Kathy delivers a St John experience that delights the sights and senses.

“Beautiful” The house was located inside a gated community. It was a open and breezy layout. Was a short walk to a private beach. The house included two bathrooms and four bedrooms and was spacious. Walmart was within a 15 minute drive for groceries and there were several eateries within a few minutes from the house. All in all, it was an amazing trip.

“Loved this house!” The layout of Limin house was perfect, lots of private areas to chill and a lovely open air veranda to come together. The attention to detail was noted from the great margarita and ice machines to flashlights in all rooms. Loved to be able to make coffee in the bedroom and the sit on the balcony early in the morning and watch the scene unfold below. We loved the huge outside BBQ and took advantage of having half our dinners in. Pool was fantastic with great views and gardens all around the property were lovely. Outdoor showers were great anytime of day! We had issues with our main fridge, but Deb (Manager) was very attentive and helpful and brought us ice if we needed. The freezer worked and there was a bar fridge by the pool so we all got lots of exercise. We understand things go wrong and it is hard to get parts etc on the island. The house more than made up for this and we didn't really care too much. we hope to be back in 2 years and would definitely stay at Limin House.

“Excellent Location” The only con would be the 4-5 flights of stairs. After a long day of walking around in the city and having to walk up those flights of stairs can be a nuisance.

“Tough to leave this island gem!” The owner was great to work with.This is a great 1 bedroom unit located in a quiet gated area. The huge pool calls your name as soon as you arrive. Condo is located close to beach and many great area restaurants. We found the swaying of the palm trees, the great breezes and the sweet sound of the birds so very relaxing. It was very tough to leave this island gem.

“Heaven on earth” I want to thank the owner Thursten Cook for another wonderful week at South Sound. The property is located on a private cove with breathtaking views of the Ocean. The property was in great shape with a new refrigerator and a new boat. It is difficult to put into words the feeling of falling asleep at night and hearing the roar of the ocean. As this is our second time at the Villa we are starting to get to know all the citizens. The people on the Island go out of their way to make you feel confortable. “The Spirit On The Water was simply magical!” A group of us were visiting the Usvi on vacation for the first time and we were there for 4 days or so. The Spirit On The Water was a fantastic choice not only for a location to call "home" for the time we were there but also for the warmth and incredible hospitality of the owners!!! Both Ed and June were extremely welcoming from the moment that we arrived, they were always eager to lend a helping hand, to suggest a place to visit and to provide directions whenever we needed it. The house was impeccably clean and organized!! The location and the view are absolutely breathtaking... in fact, I think I could've spent the entire vacation just basking in the sun on the incredible infinity pool and deck that they have there!!! I would absolutely highly recommend staying there and making friends with Ed and June... they're great people, and they provide a great place with great services above and beyond anything that you might expect in a five start hotel :)

“An authentic taste of the "American Paradise" with best imaginab” We found the Cariso Suite so perfect for us that we have been there several times over the years. The home is very comfortable, the decor is exceptional with personal artistic touch, and we loved having such a well-equipped kitchen when we wanted to eat-in. Sugar hill is a very short walk to our favorite beaches for swimming, snorkeling and lounging either under bright blue sunny skies or beneath the palms and other natural shade. The private pool on the Sugar Hill estate is also a treat, nestled on the hillside with spectacular sunsets surrounded by diverse tropical landscaping, as well as cozy garden spots that surround the Cariso itself ... especially the hammock under our favorite mahogany tree. The owners offer such attentive warm hospitality, with lots of "insider tips" directed to our own personal interests. They have made discovering the cultural gems of St. Croix, diverse recreational activities, traditional island events, the best restaurants, tourist sights, favorite shopping spots, local specialties, peaceful hide-aways (our first visit was our honeymoon), etc. so much easier and more enjoyable. We have sometimes recommended Sugar Hill's other rental suites to close friends so we could all be on island at the same time and vacation together. You can really get the flavor of island life in the neighborhood and the closeby historic town of Frederiksted is so authentic compared to glitzy, noisy tourist towns we have seen elsewhere. You really feel well taken care of at Sugar Hill by the Sea with such accommodating host and hostess.
