“Great place” This is a fantastic house. Comfortable and quiet. Great location. Beautiful beach. Close to everything in town but without the noisy crowds of other oceanside villages. You are guaranteed a great time here.

“Great location” We found Edisto Realty very easy to deal with and attentive, if ineffective, with our issues. Sea Rock is in a perfect location, with the waves practically at your feet. The house is spacious and well-equpped and adequately accommodated our group of 8 adults. However, cleanliness could have been better. There was dirty underwear left under one bed, and a dirty stove, with plenty of dust around. Also the large couch in the living room had the back broken on it. Could be that it was the end of the season and time for a thorough cleaning. We never got the advertised wi-fi despite multiple attempts by Edisto Realty to get the problem solved with Comcast. Do not fault the owner or Edisto Realty on this...just typical of poor Comcast service which we have had problems with over the years. Finally, the twin beds in the 4th bedroom are pretty uncomfortable...probably fine for kids, but not for our two adults. Other beds were fine. All those things aside, we had a great week and would return again with hopes that some of these issues would have been handled. The location in the heart of everything is really the strong point; the views of dolphins in the morning from the screened porch couldn't have been better and watching the shrimp boats was delightful. The kitchen had all the utensils we could have needed. It was beautiful weather and the houses' AC never let us down, and fans in each bedroom made it really comfortable. I'd recommend the place to friends and family...

“What a Great "Beach House"!” This house is positioned perfectly on the island...up in the sound a bit so you are buffered from the rough waves and groins, while the dolphins pass by all day long. The sunset view from the deck is magnificent with several palm trees to incorporate into your photos. The kitchen also has a great view of the water which is not featured in the photos on the website, and it was well stocked with cooking utensils for homecooked meals. There was a plethora of wildlife where ever you went: butterflies, dragonflies, horseshoe crabs, dolphins, sharks (small), fish, shrimp, crabs, sea urchins, jellyfish, sand dollar(s), and more dolphins. Anytime you looked out the window there was a dolphin! Yet, with all of the creatures, it was still safe and enjoyable to swim and "float" in the water. The only downfall of the house were the tiny bathrooms. The master bath was maneagable, but the 2nd bath was quite narrow and only had a stand-up shower...although no one really seemed to mind. The beds were not very comfortable either, but the beach made up for them! Overall, it was a fantastic week with lots of good food and friends.

“Very peaceful on the Sound” We loved the location of this house. The only two things that really concerned us was the broken light globe on the screen porch and the oven needs to be replaced (the knob broke while we were there and it is obviously uneven as pots would slide off the eyes of the stove when you would stir). When we reported the oven to the office, they sent someone immediately and because of the long process to correct the problem - they offered to cover the cost of the departure cleaning. That was great with us!! We really like being on the Sound - to us it is more relaxed and peaceful. We were impressed with everyone we spoke with at the office and couldn't have asked for better service.

“Easy access to the beach” The idea that real estate is location, location,and location was certainly the case for this rental. The house was adequate but could use some updating particularly the bathrooms, screening and furniture. To be right on the water was wonderful. I had concerns that the wooden blinds on all the windows were not dusted, we killed 2 cockroaches in the house and almost every screen had holes in them not allowing us to open windows and enjoy the breezes.

“Great house for large groups” We were switched from another house that was not what it appeared to be on-line so they moved us to Sail On Inn. When we walked in we knew we liked it even before seeing the bedrooms. Very large open area with a table that sits 12 to 14 people if not more. 2 of the bedrooms have access to the porch. Those rooms also each have their own sink and toilet. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and anything you could need. Plan to stay in this house again. Also have a pretty good view of the ocean and the access is right across the street.

“Great place for R & R” We have stayed at Carolina Jessamine before. Close to the beach yet on a quiet and serene street. Tastefully and very well appointed...very comfortable. The screened porch is a superb place to eat, read, and just relax. This is my husband and I's favorite rental at Edisto Beach! And my husband adds, the TV is awesome!
