“Home away from home” I own my own business, so any time away is especially precious. Kilkelly's West Wing Cottage was the perfect fit. Unlike the institutional feel of a hotel room, the West Wing is like a home away from home. Immediately, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms were equipped with every possible item anyone would need, even a tea kettle and grill accessories for the gas grill. The commercial like ice maker was an unexpected surprise. They even provided a small cooler for day trips. Normally in a hotel room, I am loathe to touch anything and notice the dirt and traces of previous guests. Immediately you can see how clean and welcoming the West Wing is - I had no hesitation using any of the amenities. We are very picky travelers and the West Wing exceeded our expectations. The breakfast casserole was so good I even got the recipe! There are several televisions with satellite, DVD, Blue-Ray, etc - available but we never even turned them on. It was so relaxing enjoying the sunrise, sunset and mountain views, we had no need for the outside world. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend the West Wing! :)

“Perfect getaway” Is this edited version ok to put on the website? We just had the most relaxing time at Mountain Dream Cabins. We went with very little expectation as this was our first mountain getaway after moving to Charlotte 7 months ago. We absolutely loved it. The cabins are so you have a lot of privacy and we like that a lot. It was great to unwind and disconnect from the world for a short time. “Bear Bungalow Visit” We love the Bear Bungalow and have stayed there multiple times. Location is great. Short drive to town. And, my son loves all the bear decor. We love everything about it and appreciate the wi fi connection.

“Awesome and Blissful” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Vista. Jenkins Rentals is wonderful and helpful. We have been coming to Blowing Rock for 14 years and are looking forward to next year. The location was perfect, private but still around everyone. Just make sure you have 4 wheel drive as always. The view is fantastic, ever changing and peaceful. Totally enjoyed waking up and just looking out the window to see the sunrise. Love the wood burning fireplace. If you are a chef, the kitchen was perfect and had everything one needs. Our favorite part is just enjoying the view out on the awesome decks. Thank you for a wonderful home and sweet memories.

“Relaxing and Peaceful” We enjoyed our stay. It had a wonderful view and we really enjoyed watching all of the Humming Birds. We came to hike the mountains and there were plenty of trails to hike.
