“A perfect cottage in which to feel at home.” This is a perfect cottage in which to feel at home whilst exploring the south west of Iceland. The views across the lake and to the surrounding hills are very special. It is well equipped and has a spacious living area and I would recommend paying the small extra fee for use of the hot tub after a day's trekking in the mountains or driving around the fjords. Iceland's highest waterfall, Glymur, is nearby and is well worth the walk. Haukur and anna Lisa, the hosts, are very helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed our time in their summerhouse.

“Full of character!!!” I stayed here along with my boyfriend for a week, we were giving a warm welcome by the owner and to my delight the fire was buring brightly as we arrived. The house was warm and cosy and very homely with comfortable beds. We enjoyed going for walks along the country roads and even came across a duck pond. The location was ideal, its only 15 minutes from letterkenny. I have already looked into booking a week next year and look forward to the warm hospitality i recieved from John and Barry.

“Amazingly beautiful apartment!” This apartment is a true gem! Everything you need to feel at home is at your disposal, a visit to the massage reclining chair right before bed is just a bonus!!! “Great place to stay and re-charge your batteries!” From the moment of arriving Jeremy and Lynda couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome and valued. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The location is superb and is very peaceful yet plenty to do on the doorstep. I heartily recommend a cream tea at Cheristow Lavendar which is just a short walk away and a visit to atlantic Village in Bideford. The only downside was having to go home!

“Fantastic, Tranquil Holiday Experience” Pat and Annette really have a stunning Lodge Resort. The lodge is placed near a lake, has stunning views, and the lodge it self has all the creature comforts of home and is very comfortable. The location is central to all the local tourist attractions, and Pat and Annette have developed a book recommending all the best places to visit while in the area. With boats, donkey rides for the kids, fishing and a quaint little pool hall in the centre of the lodge, Mount Cashel is far better than any hotel. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and certainly will be coming back to stay again, the main reason being that it is so peaceful, welcoming and homely.

“Fantastic accomodation and Beautiful Views” This peaceful quite location was so relaxing, serene and beautiful. The house was more than we ever expected. The decor, and fine detail to everything was like being home away from home. The house was warm, cozy, had all the ammenties we needed, and was spotlessly clean. Barry was so kind and friendly making us feel at home immediately. Any questions or concerns that we had, he was responsive immediately and catered to our every needs. We would fully recommend this vacation rental for couples and/or families. Great location, close to the town of Ramelton, plus a short drive to Letterkenny, close to all highways if you had any other sigtseeing to do in other countys. We would absolutely love to stay in the house again and would be very disappointed for our next vacation if the house was not available.

“A holiday to remember!” We came to stay in Lochleven Seafood Cottage in april. There were ten of us staying, and we all instantly fell in love with the cottage as soon as we stepped inside. It was really clean and tidy, and well kept. The views of the loch were outstanding from the living room, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The cottage was very well equipped, so there's no need to bring anything extra. The location of the cottage is also ideal, about twenty minute's drive from Glencoe and Fort William. We were able to travel to somewhere different everyday, but also enjoy some lovely walks and mountain treks just outside the cottage. The service for the cottage was also incredible - I texted the supervisors about a blocked drain and they instantly sent someone within the same morning. All in all a great holiday!

“Bright, Spacious, and attractive” We are a family from the us who drove from Reykjavik to akureyri to stay for several days. This lovely apartment, brand new, was a joy to stay in. The owner has thought of so many things and so the apartment is well stocked, attractively decorated, and has great blinds for the windows. The area, just above and beyond the downtown is 1 minute away from "Bonus" where you will shop for your groceries. It is very quite, next door to a golf course, and has immediate access to the road that takes you both toward the east for travelto waterfalls and hiking and also back southwest to Reykjavik. Staying in an apartment is so reasonable because dining out in akureyri is so very expensive and this apartment has all you need to cook a meal. Lots of closet space is awesome. We really enjoyed our stay!

“A wonderful experience with way more than we expected!!” Our stay in your beautiful abode was the 'cherry on top' of our great, Ireland experience. “Beautiful view and lovely apartment” We had a wonderful time in this lovely studio flat. It's perfectly designed for a couple, and all with lots of attention to detail, and high quality facilities. Great hot showers for after walking. And most importantly the most incredible view from bed. Also a great location to be between Portree and Dunvegan. Joyce was very efficient and friendly, and we had a great holiday here.
