“Top Banana” Lovely chalet! It is well stocked with everything you’ll need and very nice and clean. Comfy beds and beautiful views! Nice and quiet and peaceful! The owner communicates very well. The only thing I would mention is if you plan on sleeping a teenager or adult in the loft area bring an air mattress or they’ll be sleeping on the couch. Would definitely stay here again!

“Amazing get away!!” This house is beautiful!! The view is incredible and the amount of space throughout the entire house is awesome!! My friends and I stayed here for a weekend away and got just that! While the cell service is pretty bad, it allowed us to spend time together and enjoy nature! There was plenty of space for everyone! Donald took care of everything, even providing the house with basic necessities that some of my group forgot! Donald replies very fast to your questions and concerns!! Overall, an amazing trip and a beautiful house!

“Wonderful weekend stay!” We had a weekend family get-together with a group from ages 2 to 65. Michael met us on arrival and gave us a grand tour of the lodge from beds to sleds. His love of the lodge was obvious as he shared its history. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for all of us - with room to spare. The large, well-stocked kitchen allowed all of us to share in the cooking and cleaning chores. The dining room was huge. The living room had plenty of space for all of us to congregate around the fireplace or to go to a corner for a game challenge or a quiet space. Lots to do inside (games, books, sound system, karaoke) and even a play area with table, chairs, books and toys for the young ones. Outside - to die for! A hill outside the door that was fun for all ages of sledders - and floodlights for night sledding. We had a great snowshoe hike on the trails (snow was not good for XC skiing that weekend). “Paridise In Big Bear” My husband and I went to the Chalet with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Kiyoe was very welcoming. The place was very clean and homey. Our dogs loved the trails right outside the back door. What we enjoyed the most was the privacy and how quiet the area was. We definitely will go back! Thank you for having us... “Nice and clean!!” What a view!! Owners were wonderful to work with. The kitchen had anything you needed to prepare meals. The hot tub was amazing! Large dinning area made it wonderful for meals. Kids as well as adults loves the game system. It was close enough to Gatlinburg yet gave you to feeling of being out and private. Best of all it was very clean!!! I would recommend and hope to stay again!!

“It is wonderful” This was a house that had everything we needed the 2 king beds was great kitchen was equipped well wash and dryer was wonderful with kids hot tub I back porch was great with a great view of river the river was only steps away

“although our first, THE BEST cabin experience ever!!!” We went for the Labor Day weekend. My boyfriend, sister, 1 year old niece, and a friend couple. First of all we fell in love with the place as soon as we got there. Honestly, we all felt it looked way nicer than the photos we saw! Rich was great as well. When i was searching around to try to book cabins throughout Big Bear Lake, i honesty emailed almost 15 cabins to find out if we can stay for just 1 night, since our schedules only matched to stay Sunday night and leave and get back to LA on Monday. (1 cabin i booked before this one, the site had said it was ok for the 1 night stay and took out my money, but actually received a msg from the owner stating that she does not allow 1 night stays for the holidays. Out of the 15 cabins, only 2 cabins were ok with the 1 night stay.) He was very nice about it and took us in. Not to add, he is super fast on getting back with you. The amenities were all there, although we didn't use any since we brought them thinking it wouldn't be there, the rooms and bathroom, everything was super clean as well! There were an abundant amount of towels for all of us. We were very excited about the hot tub and bbq area as well! It was a very kid-friendly environment as well, as long as you keep an eye on them when going outside where the stairs were. The surrounding neighbors were quiet too, although I guess the house next door was starting construction and started their duties early in the morning. (we didn't mind it too much though.) The cleaning list is very long, so i would strongly suggest to use the option of paying $60 to cover that, which we did so we can relax longer :) Overall, we had the best experience with the beautiful stars at night and great cabin experience!! Thank you Rich!! We will definitely be coming back :)
