This vacation rental is very nice and in a great location for access to Deadwood. Downtown shops, tours, information center, museums, Mickleson Trail and Mt. Moriah are all within walking distance. We stayed 6 nights and could have easily stayed longer!
Even with easy access to so much the rental is very quiet and comfortable. We were greeted when we arrived by the owner, Debra, who is incredibly gracious. She right away showed us around and made us feel comfortable. The guest house is beautifully decorated with lovely wall decor and a collection of books in the living room that provide insight to the history of the area. Everything was very clean! The yard was serene and also a nice space.
We were traveling with our dog and she had ample yard space to romp in as well as plenty of dog friendly places for walking. Debra generously drove us around the area "local style", showing us the best areas for taking our dog on hikes. She also set a lovely basket of fruit and bakery delights at out door to welcome us on our first morning, she gave us useful information about the area, drove my husband to a nice starting point for a bike ride back to town, AND, even gave us a basket of veterinary care items when our dog injured her foot while having too much fun!
Thank you, Debra, our stay in Deadwood was easy going and fun because we had the perfect place to stay.
