“Paradise” We stayed in the 2 floor cabin with two bedrooms with our son's family and had a wonderful week! The hosts (Eladio and Vanessa)and staff make you feel like family! The gracias hostess brought out toys for the grandchildren and sent fruit from their trees for us to enjoy! We loved the pool which is very clean and does not have the bleach smell. As they talked with us by the pool we learned more of Guanacaste. The birds were absolutely beautiful. We saw: White-ringed Fly Catcher, humming birds, green parrots, Blue Crowned Motmot (which is usually only down in Cabo Blanco), Morning Doves, a Baltimore Orial, Blue Grey Tanger, and Bronze head Black Bird. We went to the Volcano (Vieja)one day but it was closed due to activity. So we walked down the the nearby falls. Absolutely gorgeous. Wear your bathing suit! Another day we went to a beach near Nicaragua but the water there was too cold due to the Humbult current - like the Gulf stream up North that warms the water, this stream cools the water. I recommend Colebra! It is only 30 minutes away and absolutely beautiful. Bring your bug spray though. Only the mattresses will make you want to go home. They were a little hard, but normal for the area.

“Near the Beach = fun!” i had a great time with my stay in Costa rica being right by the beach and having the pool right outside. The pool is gorgeous and always warm for late night swims! I am looking Forward for planning my next trip here!

“just as advertised” This is really a wonderful condo, just as advertised it had everything to offer. It is very clean inside and is quite cozy. The location as well is great, just a few mins from town and a quick walk to the beach. I would recommend this place to my friends and plan on returning one day. Thankyou for s a lovely stay. cheryl

“Our trip was awesome” Our stay at Vista Hermosa was amazing. We had a fantastic time the weather was perfect the people were so friendly. The views were spectacular. There was tons of wildlife all around us, the sounds of the howler monkeys and the birds was so interesting. The house was beautiful everything one need was there. We felt like we were the only ones on the peninsula it was perfect not crowed loved being on the beach by ourselves with the iguanas, pelicans and the monkeys. The beach club was perfect and the food and service was great. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

“Morales Family” Our stay at Daphne's condo was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable! The condo is nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The location offers quick access to pool area and beautiful scenic view from balcony. The Conchal Resort offers excellent shuttle service to all areas within resort property and staff is very friendly. Daphne was very helpful in providing information and travel tips. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next year. Thank you Daphne!

“Great stay, I'd come back.” My brother and I had a wonderful stay. The condo was ideal, the aC a godsend...nice neighbors and location. Tito was a wonderful host/property manager - incredibly helpful with great recommendations. He made my stay relaxing and easy. :) I'd make two minor suggestions - just to have a couple rolls of toilet paper at the house and dishwashing liquid when you arrive. Very minor. “Paradise Perfection” 5 STAR - Top notch accommodations! We could not have asked for a better place to stay! Clean, comfortable (beds were fantastic) & perfectly decorated. The hospitality both before & during our stay was above average! The beachfront villa had the most breath taking view & private lagoon style setting with black sand that glistened from the sun like gold just steps from the front door. The 3 tier pool was spotless & the grounds were impeccably groomed! Paradise on the Pacific!

“beautiful house, great location, secluded beach” This was the perfect spot for our get together with long time friends to celebrate my mom's birthday. The owners were extremely helpful with making arrangements and even custom built a ramp for my mom who is disabled to access the condo! The location was perfect for our 3 year old-we were literally steps away from the pool and family friendly restaurant. The beach, also steps away, was secluded, safe for swimming and great for snorkeling -turtles came up and laid eggs on the beach three nights during our stay. The condo was equipped with beach toys, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The condo was spacious, has a great kitchen and open floor plan downstairs. We loved sitting on the patio early in the morning and listening to the howler monkeys and watching the sunset while we cooked up fresh caught fish. It was so nice to feel like when we arrived we didn't have to go anywhere else- and for a couple days we didn't -we just enjoyed our little piece of paradise! We hope to return again soon!

“Unforgettable views and experience” We arrived back in the States on early Monday morning, and our regular work and family routine immediately slapped us in the face. What a harsh reality check after our amazing Costa Rican vacation! We had a fantastic time in Guanacaste, and Cass Fiesta was everything we imagined it would be - and a little bit more. The views were indescribably gorgeous. I would have been content to sit on the upper deck or poolside all day long and watch the sunshine and clouds change throughout the day. Casa Fiesta was such an incredibly relaxing setting. The house itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy an extended stay. It feels like a remote and exotic location, but the beach, groceries, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. The pool was a refreshing respite from the afternoon sun, and the hilltop temperatures were very comfortable - especially in the evening while enjoying sunset and twilight. The howler monkey calls and exotic bird fly-bys in the morning were enjoyed immensely on the deck while sipping coffee. Simply amazing. Casa Fiesta also benefits tremendously from Diego and Jennifer's presence. We especially enjoyed Jennifer's meal (arguably the best we had all week!) and Diego's sage advice. Diego also took us whitewater rafting on very short notice and arranged everything. We couldn't have done it without him. As our vacation transitioned to other locations in Guanacaste, I found myself missing the scenic view from Casa Fiesta and wished we could have spent the entire duration on the seaside mountaintop overlooking Portrero. Thanks again for accommodating us, and we look forward to planning our next Costa Rican journey at some point in the not-too-distant future.

“Paradise...check” My family found paradise ...Playa Hermosa. A very quaint town not overly run with tourist attractions. This condo was amazing. It was clean and comfortable with many fantastic amenities. We grilled out during a big football game here in the states. We swam laps and splashed around in the clean and quiet pool just feet from the condo. We were able to capture beautiful sunsets from the second floor balcony. The property staff also gave us limes and bananas picked on site that morning. A few step from the condo gets you to the ocean where the waves are crashing and the monkeys are playing over head. The on-site managers were friendly, kind, and very helpful suggesting things to do and see. The area was very safe. We all agreed we will return!

“Best villa and hosts one could hope for.” I stayed at Villa El Sueno de Ocotal for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery is spectacular. The room was very well maintained and in excellent condition. All the amenities as stated.. I think the best thing about staying at Villa El Sueno de Ocotal were the hosts. Calin and Silvia are excellent hosts and extremely caring people. If there was anything that you needed, Calin would make sure that you had it and always makes sure that you are well cared for and greeted upon arrival and departure. Silvia always had a ready smile for you. Would definitely recommend this villa. Only negative things were the isolation (easily resolved with a car) and the steep driveway but you wouldn't get the view unless you were located higher up the hills. Thanks again, Calin and Silvia. “A spectacular vacation” Our vacation to Costa Rica was made special, indeed spectacular, thanks to the efforts of the people at Costa Rica Star Villas. Mar-a-Villa was luxurious, and provided our group of ten not only a wonderful "home away from home" but only a convenient base from which we could take advantage of all that Costa Rica has to offer - from scuba diving to deep sea fishing to zip-lining to river rafting and beyond. Costa Rica Star Villas provided us our own private concierge, driver, maid and chef - all of whom worked very hard to make us comfortable and all of whom contributed to our outstanding experience in Costa Rica.

“Absolutely amazing!” There was nothing we didn't love about this vacation! The condo was spacious, clean and had all the creature comforts of home. Wifi is always a huge plus when traveling out of the states and makes things so much easier for us to keep up with. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed massages on the patio not once but twice as it was so beautiful and the massage was so fantastic that we couldn't help ourselves! It is conveniently located and we easily traveled around to different beaches. We saw monkey's everyday on the way in to the complex, such a neat experience. The beach club is conveniently located right next to Father Roosters which quickly became our favorite hang out spot (Try a mint margarita! it's a must!) I would recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the view or head out for adventures and come home to a safe, secure and clean place.

“Lovely, private, inspirational home” I stayed here with my husband, teen daughter and 2, 20 something year old kids. The house is about 20 min from the airport, 5 minutes to the grocery store and restaurants and beaches, but still very private. It is everything you would want in a tropical getaway - Clean, cool, open and welcoming. We used the whole house and found it to be very comfortable - the beds were VERY comfortable. We spent the cooler parts of the day on the patios and enjoyed the incredible, unbeatable views to the ocean. In fact, my favorite part of the vacation was spending the early morning sipping delicious Costa Rican coffee on the balcony while listening to the countryside awake. The local manager, Myra, was very helpful, accommodating and available. She was able to secure a cook for us one night so we could have the "typical" dinner - delicious. Please note: the scary looking dirt road UP the hillside led us to the house. It's a very short ascent, but you will need a 4 wheel drive, or at least a larger car to make it up - we got used to it after a couple of days, but we had a good car and got a lot of experience on dirt roads with our travels around the country during the week. This house would be great for a large gathering, multiple families or a party!
