Description
Located in the heart of the monumental area of Modica Bassa, "PALAZZO DEGLI OLIVI" enjoys a unique location. Pleasant and quiet, only 30 meter away from the main road, full of life, with all kinds of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
It can be easily reached without steep ascents and stairways, which is very rare in Modica.
The building is a baroque palace with Art Nouveau elements full of air and light.
The restoration has been conservative and ecological: all floors are made with Modica stones and all rooms have ceiling fans for a natural and healthy refreshing system.
Free street parking is nearby...about 200 metres away.
APARTMENT “THE TERRACE OF JASMINE” has its independent entrance, The entryway leads to a large living room and to a fresh and sunny kitchen-dining room with a large terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just relax. The terrace is full of olive trees and jasmine, with a beautiful view over Modica monuments.
The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washer-drier, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster.
There are 2 bedrooms very well furnished, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, the bathroom is with shower. Both rooms have panoramic balconies with bistrot table.
We can add a cot in the double room.
The apartment has: air conditioning/heating, wi-fi internet, TV lcd, full equipped kitchen, washer-drier machine, iron & board, hair dryer, first quality linen & towels, memory-foam mattresses.
Final cleaning, linen, towels, internet wi-fi, gas, water, electricity and air conditioning/heating are included in the price of the apartment.
ABOUT MODICA:
The baroque town of Modica, protected by UNESCO, is situated on the slopes of the Iblei mountains. Each part offers a distinct panorama with picturesque alleys, stairways, stunning churches and elaborately decorated palaces. In the old town a number of chocolate manufacturers produce the famous cioccolato modicano.
Modica is the perfect base to explore the fascinating South Sicily with its wonderful sea, nature and history.
From there you can easily reach the nearby Baroque city of Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Noto and Siracusa. The famous golden and fine sand beaches among the most beautiful in Sicily such as Marina di Modica, Pozzallo, Sampieri and the nature reserves of Vendicari. The archeological sites of Cava D’Ispica, Cava Grande and Pantalica.
Car hire is essential to fully enjoy the local countryside, seaside and towns.
