Description
Villa Maria is a beautiful country house, situated on the hills surrounding Patti, in quiet and sunny, with beautiful views of the Aeolian Islands. It is a short distance from the sea (7 km), one of the most beautiful stretches of the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily, where beaches and bays alternate with cliffs, a few minutes from the natural reserve of Marinello, with its picturesque ponds, excavations archaeological ancient Tyndaris, with its famous greek theater. The proximity to the motorway (6 km) makes it ideal starting point for excursions throughout Sicily and in particular to the Natural Park of the Nebrodi, Cefalù, Taormina, the Aeolian Islands (in the summer direct connection from the port of Patti), on 'Etna, the Alcantara Gorges, just to name a few. In front of the house there is a large terrace with pergola, equipped for relaxing outdoor dining, barbecue and pizza oven, with only the pleasant background of birds chirping or the chirping of crickets and cicadas. Around a beautiful garden, well maintained, with rich vegetation of olive and citrus trees, fig trees and other plants typical of the place, which will allow you to taste the fruits of the season (in spring sweet orange juice in summer figs, mulberries, the pears, prickly pear). The interiors are cozy and well-proportioned, are furnished with taste and functionality. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom, the kitchen, the living room and a bathroom; Upstairs three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and a bathroom. Two of the rooms on the upper floor open onto a balcony with wonderful sea views. At the same first floor it is also a terrace, with views of the Aeolian Islands, equipped with deck chairs and sofas, ideal for enjoying a coffee or to dine malvasia of the Aeolian Islands with one of the sweets of Sicily, pastes almond and pistachio.
