Description
"La Chiana" is a 1775 country house recently restored, enjoy a beautiful panorama and the 2 ha of land around the house(planted with olive trees,hazelnuts,chestnuts and many kind of fruits).
This villa is located in Pettineo, a lovely medieval village located along the northern coast of Sicily, close to the natural parks of Nebrodi and Madonie.
Shaded by olive trees the stone house sits amongst magnificent Sicilian countryside, the atmosphere is distinctly Sicilian with the antiques wrought iron beds and antique furnishing.
A large terrace, which extends the whole width of the house and has views across the countryside towards the sea, is a great spot for al fresco meals.
a barbecue and a wood hoven at the back of the house, on the ground floor is possible to sits in the shades of the old “palmento”, used in the past to make wine.
The property stands in a unique position high on the hillside (600 mt on the sea level),
The area immediately around the villa is wonderfully peaceful
a well-equipped kitchen , A double bedroom and the bathroom with shower at the ground floor has been created in the old stable area. At the first floor two double bedrooms (on request both the bedrooms can be converted to twin) share a bathroom with shower. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets. Available on request baby bed and high chairs.
Swap the frenetic pace of everyday life for one of mountainous landscapes and sleepy medieval villages.
The house will be reserved exclusively for those who rent. Guests will have access to the entire house and the 2 acres of belonging land. Depending on the season may collect different kinds of fruit directly from the trees.
Eat&drink:

- on request Is possible to organize evenings with professional pizza chef and catering services
- on request is possible to get some tasty cheese directly from the local shepherd or some organic wine from the local farmers.
I'll be happy to give you all the informations required to make perfect your stay. Once you arrive in the town of Castel di Tusa (very close to the highway and train station) I will personally come to welcome you, to show your accommodation and to give you the most useful advices.
