A very special 4 bedroom Stone Villa. This mini-estate offers extensive multi-level terraces, massive private covered terraces, a large swimming pool, and tropical gardens! The huge living room with high ceilings is designed in an open concept and features a very large gourmet kitchen with American-style appliances and a breakfast bar.
There are 2 bedrooms on the upper level – both with bathrooms. Each bedroom opens onto a large adjacent terrace.
A spacious 3rd bedroom with an en-suite bath is on the main level.
The 4th bedroom is also on the main level - it has a kitchen, living-dining area, and a bedroom with a balcony overlooking the tropical gardens and a unique living/dining/kitchen in an open concept – also with large windows overlooking the gardens and forest beyond.
The Villa is complimented by 4 levels of terraces, a huge swimming pool, and 2 covered ranchos plus a garage. Paddle fans are placed both inside and outside for extra comfort. Ideal for entertaining on a grand scale!

We always try to meet and greet our guests on their arrival in an effort to ensure that they are welcomed and comfortable. Your fun-loving, outgoing group arrived with nothing but high spirits and confident outlooks! We're so glad that you remembered to pack your sense of humour and adventure. To be sure, a rental car could have enlarged your experiences in the area, but being healthy and active you managed to cover a lot of distance and take in much of what our area offers...Our only regret was that your visit here was so short! Our staff had nothing but high praise for you all and thoroughly enjoyed your company. Wandering through the gardens on paths laid out in winding circuits is a pleasurable way of inspecting the tropical plantings and looking for local wildlife including many varieties of birds, howler monkeys, occasional deer, ocelots, coatimundis, whale watching from the higher elevations overlooking the Pacific, etc, or just relaxing by either of the 2 tropical swimming pools! One of the great beauties of Villas Casa Loma is that you can do SO MUCH - or nothing at all. Please come back again for the PURA VIDA lifestyle... Costa Rica is missing you!! Saludos! Tom and Igor

“Perfect getaway”

Bayron, especially, takes an extra pride in maintaining the surrounding gardens and sparkling swimming pool. For a large, extended family such as yours, the Villa is both spacious and private, ensuring that the guests have a degree of privacy and separation that is not always possible in some rentals... The area, as you discovered, offers so very much to see and do. A variety of supermarkets, fishmongers, vegetable stands, etc. are just the start... Restaurants to satisfy the most demanding palate, exotic and fun local bars and "sodas" abound along the beaches and nearby, too. For the more energetic, there is any number of land and water activities and tours, from turtle and bird watching, river cruises, whitewater rafting, horse trail riding, zip lining, mud baths, volcano excursions, whale watching, fishing, golfing, surfing and so much more! All readily available close at hand. kick back with a good book under a palm or in the shade by the beach or pool, or make a day of kinetic activities. Do it all ... or nothing at all! ...The choice is always yours here in our gentle little corner of Paradise. It is always a hassle to check to be sure that EVERYTHING is in place - especially with people coming and going so frequently. (Thanks for the 'heads up'. Staples should always be the first things that are available!) We try our best to check each property prior to new guests arriving, but sometimes things get overlooked - especially when occupancy changes so rapidly...We are always working on making things better for our guests, and thank you for your observation!) The resident "puppy" - '(Black') - is becoming more loving by the day and is growing into his feet at an amazing rate! We're delighted that you enjoyed him. Do come back again! We are always delighted to "host" such delightful guests. Although our Villas offer lots of distractions, there is always a large variety of distractions to keep one entertained. You will be pleased to know that there are several new restaurants in the immediate area - most of which serve fresh seafood delicacies to satisfy the most demanding palate. One of these restaurants - "Camelion" - is in one of the most dramatic settings! The food and ambience there is truly spectacular. Just a bit further down the road is "Limonada" - aright on the beach. A wonderful place to chill out or ramp up with physical activities such as standup paddle boarding, sailing and mountain biking. Add to that "event night" activities and you have special memories in the making! (Our area is blessed with a broad range of entertainers, singers, musicians who appear frequently at area bars and restaurants. We are always delighted to bring our guests up to date on upcoming events and to assist in planning day trips of interest!) Add to that picturesque beaches, hills and enchanting scenery that is always just a breath away. A wealth of wildlife - such as butterflies, coatimundi, deer, monkeys, parrots and birds of all kinds reside in the adjacent tropical dry forest...The nearby ocean offers endless opportunities for whale, dolphin and turtle watching, too, so be sure to bring your camera! Canopy tours, enchanting river cruises, sailing, fishing, golf and tennis are all available mere minutes from our property. White sand and miles of uncluttered, walkable beach. All within a few minutes walk from our compound.....Whale watching, deep sea fishing, surfing and snorkeling, hose back riding, zip lining, are but a few of the wonderful activities available in our immediate area. Join walking tours with howler monkeys and visit spectacular waterfalls... There is so much to see and do here! Response from the owner We are absolutely delighted that you had such a wonderful time here, Ava!! Your wedding/family reunion really worked out well! We know that VILLAS CASA LOMA is a wonderful venue for such occasions... Weddings are always very special occassions - as are family reunions and we have had quite a few of both here! As you could see, we are well designed for both accommodating guests and providing the space and facilities for fully catered wedding ceremonies and private groups conducted around one of the large swimming pools. There is SO MUCH to see and do here! The recently opened pathway through our nature preserve has proved to be a "winner"! Recent sitings: Sloths, cuatimundi, deer, wildcats and foxes to name just a few... The whales are back again cavorting in the bay out front, too! Brasilito just had its annual Fiesta, with bullriding, games of chance, all sorts of carnival and food stands - not to mention the beer and dancing! Flamingo is footing Mardi Gras activities, including a drag race, parade and topping it off with great live entertainments this week, too! Always something fun to do here! The next time you come, we'll have to make an excursion to Avellana Beach to Lola's wonderfully laid back restaurant, too. More great food and sunning under the palms. (By the time you read this Lola's Norte should be open closer by at Danitita Beach.) And of course, the fab and imaginitive restaurants of Flamingo/Potrero & Tamarindo. Great dining here, too! The list goes on ... Thank you all for your kindnesses to Ernesto (our right arm) who - along with Willy and Lorena - happily extend themselves to make our guests feel truly welcome and "at home" with their wide smiles and cheery dispositions! If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage your booking.
- How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
- How can I view and manage my booking?

Go to Manage your booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your booking or cancel it if you need to.
- How do I pay the balance of my booking?

You can pay the remaining balance of your booking at any point. Simply go to Manage your booking and click Pay now.
We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage your booking to see when the payment will be taken.
- How can I withdraw my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Igor (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your booking or through the contact form on this page.
- How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.
- How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Igor (the owner) a message.
If Igor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
