The House has been completely restored respecting the natural elements of stone, terracotta and wooden beams of chestnut. The quiet and contact with nature will be the backdrop to your holidays. Thanks to an altitude of approximately 600 m. above sea level you can enjoy a climate never too hot, you can relax in the shade of an old chestnut maybe reading immersed in the silence of the countryside and enjoy the view of the mountains of the Apennines Tuscan. It is ideal also for those who prefer to visit the nearby towns of art museums and ancient churches. For those who choose the holiday as an opportunity to do sports can go horseback riding, playing golf, walking trails, fishing, windsurfing and sailing or take in the nearby Lake of Bilancino. A holiday in Tuscany is an opportunity not to give up anything.

Apartment on two floors. 100 which can accommodate up to 6 people in two bedrooms, one with two single beds in the loft, a large kitchen for convivial moments, bathroom with shower, washing machine.
The furnishings were chosen with the typical Tuscan style and tradition, large Windows with views of the Tuscan Apennines mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped and will allow you to cook many Tuscan recipes

“Thank you Cristina for your wonderful hospitality”
We arrived late in Florence from Verona and the route instructions we received by our guess were perfect .... it is always nice to get to the home we rented easily .... we were welcome by Luca and Cristina that as first thing offered us something to drink to make us feel at home. The apartment is very clean and absolutely new. All the linen and both robes were clean and we really had a great night sleep after a long journey. during the day the property has a lot of light and the garden is very pleasant. This property is out in the country but at the same time very close to the beautiful city of Florence so it was very easy and convenient to spend the day visiting museum and art and in the evenings relax in the cool breezy garden. The owners even offered us a dinner during our stay. We will certanately be back "chez" Luca and Cristina. Thank you from Alex and Margie

“An excellent location to spend time in Italy - Toscana”
I CASTAGNI DEI MEDICI LORENZO is an enchanting location to return to each day after trips around Florence and Tuscany in general. Surrounded by mountains, trees and a lot of vegetation, with an incredible view on the mountains and an other cottage in the distance, this is a great place to rest and recharge your batteries. We found a beautiful Italian house, designed in the typical comfortable relaxing Italian style. We've been welcomed by the warm owners, who gave us all the necessary information, and we found everything one can need inside our apartment (milk, cake, olive oil, sodas, dish washer, washing machine, great cozy rooms). The road to the cottage starts from a small friendly village (where you can find a mini-market with natural sparkling wine) and crosses the forest up to the top. Here you should have some warm clothes because it gets pretty cold in the evening. Inside the house there are two beautiful rooms with double beds, a fully equipped kitchen a large living room and a Florentine style bathroom. Outside there is a grill you can use, and there are tables and chairs to spend a nice afternoon outside in the fresh air. From here, in about 20 minutes you arrive in the marvelous city of Florence. You definitely need a car around here.
