Description
Our holiday cottage «La Zagara» ( "Orange Blossom") is located in the center of the picturesque mountain village Forza d'Agro, the 15km from Taormina and 420m above sea level sits on a rocky outcrop and its stunning views of the coastline, the Strait of Messina to over impresses on Calabrian mainland, Taormina and Mount Etna. The village kept its Sicilian village atmosphere, yet offers an impressive number of restaurants for every budget and taste. A small grocery store is located directly opposite the house; Bakery, post office, pharmacy, gas station and ATM in the town. The nearest beach is 5km Directions; Walks start right outside the front door. The house has three floors, each with a room. The lower level is towards the village road, the upper rear to the front side at ground level. You enter the building from the back and are located in the spacious living-dining-kitchen, fully equipped with 4-burner stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine and a pellet stove that heats the whole house in winter. In the warmer months, the balcony is ideal for breakfast during which you can enjoy the view over the Straits of Messina and can watch the village bustle. Right next to the front door up the stairs to the lower two floors going down the right. Both floors consist of a bedroom and a bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. The middle bedroom has a double bed, a cot and a small balcony. Downstairs is a bunk bed, suitable for (not too small) children or (not too big) Youth / adults and a sofa bed.
