Description
Hortus, belonging to Anime a Sud collection, is a charming and exclusive Residence, built in a 16th century complex in front of the marvellous cathedral of S. Giorgio, in the heart of Modica, a masterpiece of the baroque Sicily.
The property faces a secluded garden with fruit trees, living and dining area and jacuzzi, where to relax in total privacy.
The three refined rooms, each one with en-suite bathroom, boast local stones (lime stone, lava stone and pitch stone), vaulted ceilings and very comfortable beds with memory-foam mattresses and pillows.
The Acqua Suite features a round bed with tub, the Fuoco Suite features a king-size bed with bio-fireplace, while the Aria Suite, upstairs, is a romantic alcova with normal-size bed that faces a wonderful terrace with view over S. Giorgio cathedral.
The dwelling is also provided with a charming living room and a stylish fully-equipped kitchen with undeground wine cellar.
The private grotto SPA, which will be opening soon, will feature heated pool, steam bath and massage stone bed.
By request we offer private chef, massages & treatments, chaffeur service, private guided tours, winery visits & wine tasting, sicilian cooking class, chocolate tasting, electrical bike rentals, airport transfers.
