For travelers who are looking for something more than budget, Ocean Melody 2 is the place!

Built on the experience of her older sister Ocean Melody, this second cottage stands on a a bigger lot (1000 square meters) and has a bigger size (48 square meters)

Parks, Beaches, Nature, Biodiversity, Privacy. The magic atmosphere of Bahia and his people, will make your stay unique. Ideal for couples.

Private and comfortable for two guests, this new casita is located in the coast-side village of Bahia, only 800 meters from the main entrance of the Marine National Park Ballena and the beautiful wild beaches Playa Uvita and Playa Colonia.

Its location right behind the beach forest of the National Park, only 200 meters from the Ocean, provides a daily breeze and the constant magic melody of the sea waves.

The house is made of local cultivated, environmental-friendly certified pinewood. The sea breeze is reinforced by designed ceiling fans in all rooms and the porch; a fresh local ceramic floor completes the cosy feeling of natural immersion.

Air conditioning provides extra cooling in the bedroom. The queen sized bed is comfortable and equipped with 100% cotton bed and pillows sheets. A living room sofa bed is available for young families with kids.

The fully furnished kitchen is nicely decorated with South Italian tiles. It forms a unique space with the living room, and creates continuity with the external porch thanks to the phantom sliding door. You will enjoy the flat screen TV (smart internet Tv + satellite) on the comfortable sofa-bed.

The bathroom is bright and supplied with hot water system. There is a security safe for valuables.

The spacious external porch offers two rocking chairs to enjoy the sound of the Ocean, while navigating on a comfortable high speed wireless internet. Or you can just hang the hammock and lay, watching at the coastal jungle and experience the sight of a monkey or of a loud screaming pair of Scarlet Macaws!

The external tropical garden hosts a variety of tropical plants. The house is equipped with a BBQ area, a round stone table and chairs, and outdoor shower. The parking place is private, gated and lighted at night.

The private pool and rancho will make your stay just perfect! The pool (6x3,5 meters) has metal stairs and a bench, and a comfortable sidewalk where enjoying the sun and a fresh drink...or you can lay down on the pool lounge chairs in the shadow of the sun umbrella!

No 4x4 expensive rental car is necessary…actually you won’t need a car at all! The village of Bahia (an old farm that became a tourist destination after the national Park was created) can be easily reached by public bus. It hosts all tour operators organizing mid-day boat tours of the park or daily tours to the more distant and spectacular Caño Island and Corcovado National Park. You can hang around walking or cycling (bicycles available on request); go to the beach and take a low-tide walk to the world wide known Whale’s Tail; surf a wave at Playa Colonia when the tide raises; rest in one of the local sodas and enjoy a fresh fried fish or a natural fruit juice; or just buy some food and be back home………all within few hundred meters from Ocean Melody 2!

Response from the owner Maryse, Thanks for your review, even if I do not agree AT ALL with it for very few simple reasons: 1) you were received through our visitors center as all guests do. No guest ever complained about it, in fact we receive very positive comments that make us SUPERHOSTS on Airbnb and get a 9,7 award on Booking.com. 2) the information was sent via email through the Booking.com page. There is no way you did not receive it. It is still there if you’ll look for it. This means that you did receive it, but you did not care. 3) your attitude (a bit arrogant I’d dare to say) caused your problem with the alarm. An alarm in a private home is very common, but you just thought to enter the house without knowing anything about it. Since you had not received any information as you claimed, you should have asked for it before arriving shouldn’t you!? 4) your reaction (a bit hysterical I’d dare to say) to the alarm (it was just an alarm, you made it appear like it was an atomic bomb!) was the worst part of all. You screamed to an innocent employee at the visitors center, which is totally unacceptable. Then you screamed at me, which is not advisable considering it was all your fault. 5) even if upset I came and drove you to the house to show you something that even a 5 years old kid could manage. You maybe forgot that you apologized for your reaction when we met, and that your husband (who seemed quite ashamed) apologized even more. Now that you are far from looking at me in the eyes, you are throwing off your frustratilon again, which I find very mean. I really hope to not see you anymore, and suggest you to look for a hotel next time (you'll pay more if you can, but you'll be attended more closely as you surely deserve) Thanks, Massi
