Mackenzie Manor is located in Black Mountain, NC Tripadvisor's 2017 "Prettiest Small Town in America"

A private, quaint home - the perfect place to sit back & relax while being close enough to enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer. The home is located only 2 minutes from downtown Black Mountain & Montreat & only 15 minutes from Asheville. Enjoy easy access to the local grocery stores & tailgate markets. Local attractions including The Biltmore House, Grove Park Inn & Lake Lure are all within a 15 to 30 minute drive.

This home has just been completely remodeled and decorated, and includes new central heating and air. Beautiful refinished concrete floors with plush area rugs.

New updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances.....including a dishwasher and a newly refinished antique dining table that seats 4.

This home has a very nice large, flat back yard with outdoor eating area & grill. The side yard is large enough for a game of badminton, corn hole, horse shoes or croquet. Both yards are great areas for children to play outside!

The living room has new furniture & a new 42’ HD smart TV. Enjoy easy access to Netflix, Vudu, Hulu and more using your login information.

The bedrooms have beautiful new upholstered headboards, antique side tables, new mattresses & new soft comfortable bedding. One bedroom has a queen size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed.

All windows are covered with new blinds and/or sheers.

All linens are provided, as well as a starter supply of detergent, dish washing soap and paper products.

It is fully equipped with everything you would need to have an amazing weekend or extended stay!

You have access to the entire house! It's private and all yours!

A car is needed to get around, however we have had guests use Uber when visiting the local restaurants and breweries.

We will interact as little or as much as you prefer! We normally try to be here when you arrive to say hello and answer any questions you may have. We love meeting our guests, but we also understand the need for a private retreat so please let us know if you would rather communicate via messages. We are lifetime locals and available any time for questions, directions or comments!

Loved this little house....like stepping into an IKEA showroom...lovely décor, immaculate! Area was just beautiful with easy road access to Asheville sights! I'll be back!
