Description
The House, on two levels, with a magnificent terrace, is located in the historic centre of Scicli, a Unesco World Heritage site. It is located just above the splendid church of Santa Maria La Nova, far from the noise of the street and of the machines, but, at the same time, a few minutes walk from the shops and main monuments of the city, in a place of particular fascination for the archaic flavour and timeless that emanates, to the point of being chosen, at Christmas time, as the location of an evocative living crib.
The House itself is particularly happy and gives you a warmer clime in winter and cooler in summer.
The House has been completely and finely renovated, using natural materials and coatings in pietra di Modica and in stone-feature pitch. In the choice of the furniture we wanted to combine antique and modern, with a view to compliance with the original structures within the maximum comfort.
The House has two entrances on the ground floor that allow access to two separated bedrooms, one of which is smaller with a bed for one and a half square and the other, a suite, consisting of a large living room where is situated a comfortable sofa bed and a bedroom that looks out beyond a stone Archway.
The bathroom, the two service rooms, is particularly elegant and equipped with a bathtub.
Upstairs there is a large living room with a kitchen area and a living room where you place the large double sofa bed and tv. In the adjacent room, where it is also located the washing machine, the large shower.
The two doors of the living room leads to a terrace, large as the inner room, where you can enjoy a landscape that leads the eye to wander from the rock to the intense green of the quarry, from the pine forest on the hill opposite the village below, the beautiful side of the Church with its domes at San matteo and fleeing the city towards the sea.
Scicli is a strategic point to visit other places of artistic interest-Baroque architecture, like Modica, Noto, Ispica, and Ibla to make life at sea as the beautiful beaches of Sanpieri and Lucata Woman are just a few kilometres.
A stay at this place allows you to enjoy the most authentic Sicilian life godendone hospitality in a comfortable space.
The House is usually rented out in its entirety, but just for the independence of the two bedrooms can be rented partially with the use of the area. For this eventuality in the period of July and August contattattare even if the calendar is not available,
