“A very enjoyable stay” In November we spent a week in Lamb Cottage in Windermere. It was a very comfortable cottage, nice and warm and very well equipped. It was also very convenient for the shops and pubs and eateries. The staff at the office were very helpful and pleasant. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday.

“Quiet and secluded even htough in town centre” This cottage is hidden up a small alley, next to a superb bakers and a chapel of rest. It covers 3 floors and the bathroom is on the top floor, this caused my wife some problems when rushing to the toilet but if you are fit it's terific. Parking is a nightmare if you go in busy period even though you are given a free parking voucher, just volume of cars. Decent stroll down to Bowness but worth the walk. Lack of TV in the bedrooms is a bit of a let down. Overall the experience of the Lakes is among the best in the country
