“Spectacular sunsets” The view from the deck is worth a million dollars. Waking uo to the sound of wild turkeys was a bonus. The cabin location is very easy to find and convenient to everything in Boone and Banner Elk. The cabin was a little dusty, the bathrooms were not luxurious, and the master bedroom bed needs attention (tighten bolts and replace the mattress). Also, the front doorknob needs to be replaced. However, these things did not prevent us from having a wonderful time. I would consider staying there again. It is simply a beautiful location.

“Best cabin we've ever stayed in.” Exceptional location and accommodations. Beautiful view of the Watagua River. Soothing sounds of the flowing river makes relaxing easy and stress disappear.

“Wish I could live here!!!” My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend with our five year old son. We have stayed in numerous cabins throughout the Boone area and this one is by far, the best one yet! The cabin has all of the amentities of a home, just bring your clothes and some food and you're all set! The cabin is very comfy, tastefully decorated and in a perfect location. We were far enough away from Boone to truly relax yet there is a grocery store five minutes away. We grilled out each evening on the wonderful wrap around deck. The sunset view from the deck and hot tub are absolutely amazing! I wish I could experience this every evening! My son fell in love with the hot tub, we could not get him out of there!! We truly appreciate the little things about this cabin. There were fun games, Netflix access (which was great for our son!!), etc. My husband was impressed with the surprise beer he found waiting for us and I enjoyed the complimentary wine :) This is truly a home away from home. I was very sad to leave and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon :)

“The perfect trip! Awesome!” Wife and I recently spent our 15th anniversary in "A Mountain Dream"...and, it was a dream, indeed! Cozy, quaint, a true "cabin feel"...beautiful views and plenty of privacy. “The house and setting allowed us to relax and get away from the” My wife and I spent a relaxing 3 weeks at the Crest. The setting is beautiful and the house is quite comfortable. We spent our time reading and taking day trips to nearby towns and attractions and our city dogs loved being able to roam around the woods off-lead. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife around the house such as deer and a wild turkey. The cool air and mountain vistas were quite a treat for flatlanders such as us who normally endure the misery of august in south Louisiana.

“New River Ramble” This was a great time for the entire family. We attended the ASU football game, but until that time we enjoyed all the amenities of the home. The New River, the fire pit, the hot tub, the game room, the bicycles, etc. were enjoyed by everyone. This place has everything you could imagine you would need. We will be back! :)

“Phenomimal vacation home, something for every age group.” Our family of 14, children and grandchildren had a wonderful time. The home is well equiped in the kitchen, etc. Our family had a wonderful time using all the entertainment in the house, enjoying the sunshine overlooking the mountains and having a home we could all stay in comfortably. They would like to make it a tradition. Thank you to the home owners for furnishing the home so nicely and making sure we had everything we needed. We were even welcomed by a family member who graciously offered his help if we needed it.
