“Quiet, comfortable, delicious, interesting and easy!” Quiet, tho we watched a movie and enjoyed the creek flow sounds; comfortable and pretty indoors and out; delicious organic goodies from the garden with tour; interesting to see and learn about the eco architecture; and super easy staying in or going to Bryson City or asheville. We totally enjoyed it and meeting Linda!

“Super will go again” Annual get together that has been to several places on Smith Mtn Lake with this being rated at the top. This was spacious and comfortable with a great screened in porch that had super view of lake and plenty of room to accommodate all of our group. Plenty of dishes and accessories in the kitchen to cook and prepare whatever we wanted. With 5 bedrooms there is lots of sleep spots and privacy. Will go again.

“Cozy, Charming, Quaint” The Cozy upper room was very unique. My experience was wonderful. I really enjoyed the amazing bath and shower. It's all in the details and it felt like home in this little room. I would highly recommend the cozy upper room to anyone. I will make it a point to come back and stay again. “Perfect” Great place to get away from it all. Put our kayaks in the river right at the cabin, good fishing, plenty of places to ride dual sport motorcycles in the area, paved and unpaved.

“Great location for a quite getaway” I booked this cabin for my wife and myself for our anniversary. The weather did not cooperate as it rained heavily on the day we arrived. The family that owns this cabin are very nice and will help with any needs. I had to have them bring a tractor and pull my van out when I got it stuck on the wet loose gravel and there were no complaints. We enjoyed ourselves in this quiet wooded setting and saw wildlife just outside the cabin. We walked down to the river which was muddy and rolling by due to the rain. We drove in to Beattyville for lunch and supplies and ate dinner at Red River Rock House. Other than those 2 excursions. we spent the rest of our weekend at the cabin and walking around the property. Our overall experience was quite enjoyable and is worth repeating.
