“Amazing view and utter seclusion” A bunch of friends and I headed up to Water Rock to celebrate Labor Day weekend together and we couldn't have wanted any more out of a cabin. Plenty of comfortable sleeping space, very affordable. The views from the porch and the rest of the property were unreal. You could see clear to the Smoky Mountain National Park and there wasn't another human in sight. The wood fired hot tub was rustic and a fun and unique experience for us. And much to our surprise it worked fantastically (we were skeptical). The cabin is out of the way but definitely not too far from activities. We very easily split up into two groups, one who went to the National Park and another who went white water rafting near Bryson City. The casino is very close if gambling is your thing, and the Food Lion in Cherokee provided us with all our food needs. The road leading up to the cabin is a bit scary at night, but the directions provided were spot on. I would highly recommend getting there during daylight hours. We had a blast playing music, grilling, and just relaxing for a long weekend. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic week in the mountains” I would thank Jeff and is family for allowing my friends and I to rent is beautiful home for a week! From the moment of entering the home I new we would have a fantastic week! This has been my 18 year of staying in the Franklin area for annual trip of riding our motorcycles in the mountains and by far our best trip!! The home is fantastic with everything you could ask for in a vacation house! So peaceful and quite yet still very close to all amenities! I forgot the views are out magazine, seeing the sunset and rise on the beautiful deck having a drink or your morning coffee will impress family’s over and over! I would not hesitate renting again! There is also so much to do in close driving distance there is fun for all ages! The small town of highlands is a sort drive away and offers little shops, great food and more!! Once again thanks to Jeff and is family for making our trip the best I have had traveling to the Franklin North Carolina!!

“Perfect!” This was the perfect place for just the 2 of us! It had everything we needed and more. Stan and Diane are wonderful hosts and do a fantastic job making sure you have everything including info that you will need. You will never know they are there but theyre only a phone call away! I will stay here next time!!

“Our stay at riverdance” We had a great time, even though the weather did not cooperate with us. We enjoyed the cabin and the creek. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend this place to others.

“Amazing Views, Spacious Cabin” The home is even more beautiful than the photos show, the view is beautiful wonderful and the home was very clean. The owner is awesome with communication and the directions/information on finding the home was extra helpful. The drive to the home is steep and a little hard to see at night but it’s manageable even with a minivan loaded with luggage and Christmas gifts. The area is close to Gatlinburg, TN, Cherokee and of course Maggie Valley to go snow skiing. Downtown Waynesville has some cute shops and good restaurants. The home is very spacious and the rooms are all in different areas so it’s nice and private with several couples. There is a picnic table and fire pit area outside and the hot tub was excellent even on those 30 degree nights. Highly recommended, we will be back!!!

“Wonderful place to stay!” This beautiful home is located close to Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and many activities. The large, comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of room to relax after a day of gem mining with the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about any thing you need for a meal if you desire to cook. Bathrooms have numerous toiletries in the cabinets. There was even a hair dryer! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is the best home rental we have ever had! You will not be disappointed with this home.

“Great Escape” We had a wonderful time in this rental. The views were amazing with all the open windows. It felt like we were in our own little world. The town it’s located in was just as charming. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a little escape. The only down part was most of the leaves were gone by the time we arrived. Wishing we would have went a little earlier in the season.

“Quiet, comfortable, delicious, interesting and easy!” Quiet, tho we watched a movie and enjoyed the creek flow sounds; comfortable and pretty indoors and out; delicious organic goodies from the garden with tour; interesting to see and learn about the eco architecture; and super easy staying in or going to Bryson City or asheville. We totally enjoyed it and meeting Linda!

“Perfect getaway” We had a wonderful week. The location is perfect. We were able to venture all around the area during the days because it's centrally located. It was easy to get to Bryson, Cherokee, Sky Valley, Hayesville, Murphy, Hiawassee, Mountain city, etc. The home is nicely stocked and comfortable. The owner, Mr. Hurst is easy to get in touch with and is very nice. We loved the eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy for breakfast along with the pizza for dinner. Made it a great start to our vacation.

“Amazing views” We loved staying at this cabin! Very convient to the ski resort. Unfortunately we didn’t have much snow this trip but the cabin had many things for us to all enjoy. We will definitely return back :) It was very clean and the owners were amazing to deal with! Thanks!

“Mr.” The place was very nice. You could hear the owners walking around and talking upstairs. I did expect clean towels and wash rags every day but we didn't get any. May have been my fault because I didn't ask. The owners were very nice and said if we needed anything to just ask. We did enjoy ourselves.
