“Beautiful apartment, fantastic location, great value!” Having stayed away with friends in a number of European city locations over the last 10 years, I have a lot of experience in the great variety of space and locations on offer in city breaks. The Victoria Rooms in Budapest is quite possibly one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in! The living and sleeping accommodation is a fantastic size and could easily accommodate two families - there were 4 adults sharing for my trip and we had ample space and plenty of bathrooms to avoid any "getting ready" delays. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole apartment was beautifully presented. The location was perfect - approx. 30 mins from the airport and right outside the Budapest Food market and an easy 2 minute walk to one of the City Centre sightseeing bus tour stops. Thanks to the tasteful secondary glazing we had the convenient location without having to suffer the usual central location ambient noise! The apartment owner was available on arrival to take payment and to welcome us to the city and from there was then available only an email/phone call away to answer any Wifi set up or heating questions that cropped up (it was a chilly 2 degs at night so the central heating came in very handy!). Overall a wonderful stay in an extremely comfortable, bright, airy, spacious apartment. Only one word of caution - due to the two flights of stairs to and from the apartment it may not be a suitable setting for those travelling with very young children or those less steady on their feet - purely from a practical point of view only.

“It's really good and not expensive apartment” We had 3 days in this apartment in the beginning of february. Location is very good, near center. Supermarket Spar is just 1 minute on foot. Apartrment is clear with good equiped kitchen. Parking is availiable near apartment (only 20 meters) but I didn't understand exectly the rules. Timea gave us a lot of useful information, helped with documents for visa.

“Great apartment with a great value” At the beginning I was not sure about the location of the apartment, but I liked the images at the internet and for me and my family its important to have a nice well furnished place rather then a cheap looking place where you only sleep and where you are happy to leave quickly. This apartment provides you with a luxury and fantastic feeling of atmosphere. Its a pleasure to sit on the Florence Knoll (real leather) sofa and look throughout the hand picked photo books. As well it is great fun to find out about the function of the Italian coffeemaschine in the kitchen. The beds are very clean and I slept very good, because the owners provide some mattress pad, so you feel good during the night. And about the location its a perfect match. You can walk to bars, restaurants, night life, shopping and also you can use the tram or metro beside the house. It was my first time in Budapest and I recoment that location, because you are in the middle of everything. The old market close by is a must and much cheaper then the famous market near the Gellert Bath. I bought some second hand CD´s and gave them a try on the Geneva Sound System (works also fine with you Iphone or Ipod or via streaming) but honestly the Geneva makes a super fine sound with a CD. I left one Hungarian Classic CD for the owners. So the next guest can give it a try. I defently come back next time and might stay even longer. Thanks ...
