“5 starfish” If your looking for waverunners, bazaars, or crowds of people you wont find it here. Groceries and refreshments were conveniently located near airport and we were able to have our toes in the sand in 30 mins. The house is above the ground and has a spectacular view of the penisular tip. The Kayaks are conveniently located on rafters below. Theres a canal that is on side for those who use the boat. We went fishing for wahoo and were in 2000 ? ft in about 25 mins. Theres a blue hole about a 1/4 mile from the house for those adventurous divers. Otherwise there plenty to explore nearby whether you scourge the beach for shells or sanddollars, there were scads on low tide. i didnt see a soul on the beach for two days. We took the kayaks out to a barrier island know as "the point of spit". We went diving in the shallow waters and found some scattered lobsters. The ocean bottom was littered with seagrass and conch of all sizes. Huge colorful starfish were highly visible in the crystal waters. I was in awe of the pristine waters and abundant sea life, its a true paradise. Also on this island i caught my first fish on a fly rod ,not lucky enough to catch a bonefish but they were there. The house is spacious and of high quality. From the granite kitchen to the leather sofas and Hi def tv and surround sound. The master bedroom has a awesome view over looking the water, and surrounding islands. Its large double head shower and king size bed were luxurious. All amenities and outdoor patio made for a spectacular sunny vacation.

“Great Vacation” Gone Bananas is arguably the newest and nicest property on Lubbers. Lubbers is a short boat boat ride from Elbow Cay and the Hopetown Settlement. Lubbers doesn't have many amentities besides Lubbers Landing, Cracker P's, Down Deep Fish Store and Dee's Bread, but if you are comfortable handling a center console, it's a great place to be away from the crowd without being too far away. Both Patrick and austin are excellent proprieters at the two restaurants. Definitely rent a 20-23 ft boat (Albury recommended) for your entire stay so you can easily hop over to Tilloo, Hopetown or Nippers on Great Guana Cay. A stretch golf cart is provided and is perfect for checking out the island and taking things to and from the boat. The house has an easy to operate generator for the routine power outages (power outages are part of the charm of the Bahamas). The Wifi was solid and all of the appliances were new and in good shape. We had very safe dockage for our boat. It was pretty much protected from all wind directions. We had a great trip and can't wait to get back. - Bill and Karen

“Perfect Getaway at the Kokomo” We rented the Kokomo Beach House in Casuarino Point for 9 days and was so totally impressed with the place that we felt like we were at home...everything you could possibly need or want was at the house. The house is beautifully decorated and the view from the front porch is priceless. We spent endless days and nights sitting on the porch enjoying a cocktail or two and just enjoying the view. The beach is a gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise waters to swim, paddle or boat on...walks on the beach in the early morning to the point to watch the sunrise were peaceful and beautiful...sunsets were watched right from our porch or out in front of the place on the beach...you get the best of both worlds from this location. Marsh Harbour is about 15 miles away, but this gives you the opportunity to pick up groceries, etc. while you are in town and enjoy grilling and making your meals back at the house. A very much needed fun relaxing trip was had by the 4 of us and highly recommend the renting of the Kokomo Beach House or one of Kathy's other 3 houses on Casuarino Point!

Cliff House, Bahamas: Exceptional View!
Wonderful

If you like sun, cool breezes, beautiful water views, a wonderful secluded location, some great Chinese cooking tips, billions of stars, gorgeous shells, and a quiet that will pull relaxation from the back of the brain, this place is a sure bet. The quiet is a result of a location without roads and traffic, an island close to other beautiful cays and a gentile level of activity for the 15 plus residences. The property is new and very well equipped, including a gourmet kitchen, well appointed furnishings and a wonderful shell collection. We were there for a short time, too little once the calm and peace of the location settled in. Its just a wonderful place to relax with no plans and island time. ( No hands on the clock). Only regret was that the stay was not two weeks instead of one. Did not think I could get that slow but did. When you see the eastern view, the beautiful water colors and the billions of stars, you will understand its great appeal. David and the groupsee more
