“Great Location and host” Plenty of space for 5 adults and being so close to the beach and shops meant that we could get away from each other whenever we wanted to. We all thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Maui!

“Comfortable for family vacation. Pool great for granddaughter. Beach close walk.” The condo was comfortable for our family vacation including 2 year old granddaughter. Quiet location most of the time. Convenient to beach - great sunsets every night. Staff quickly responded to replace leaking coffee pot; if you cook a good deal from scratch, the kitchen equipment might not have everything you want. We were able to make most meals easily.

“Maui Sunset A wonderful place for family & friends” We've been staying at the Maui Sunset since the late 80's. First were our parents,then us, now our children and soon their little ones. That says a lot about a place when you have had three generations returning year after year! Can't say enough nice things about the Sunset. Much appreciation to Wendy at Kumulani.

“Wonderful!” Our condo, 412B, at Maui Sunset was completely updated and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. Units at this complex can vary depending on who you are renting from. We were very happy with this unit rented from Kumulani, and would definitely do so again. The Kumulani staff was terrific!

“Nice property, unit 105a could use some updates” The grounds of the Maui Sunset are very nice and well maintained. The pool is good but very "rules oriented" (i.e. can't horseplay with your children). Unit 105A had all needed amenities but could definitely use some renovations and upgrades (still has a VHS player!). Carpet must be replaced, sofabed matress was AWFUL and the main bed was quite uncomfortable. Did like the A/C and ceiling fans.

“Comfortable and quiet condo” Maui Sunset is a very well maintained property. This unit is comfortable and well supplied with amenities, but has not been updated like others in the complex. I was there for an extended stay, and management was excellent (Wendy).

“We'll be back (said in my best Schwarzenegger voice)” Our 10 days at the Maui Sunset were amazing. Beautiful grounds, great for the kids, just open the door and go. We will definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again. That being said, this particular unit could use just a little tlc. A few updates on fixtures (faucets in particular). Also, we travelled with 3 other families and the other 3 units offered beach accesorries, ie; chairs, boogie boards, large cooler, etc. Our unit did not offer any of these items. We found out that it is up to the individual owners what the guests have access to. By no means am I complaining, those items just would have been nice. In closing, I highly reccommend the Maui Sunset and this particular unit. The Robinson's

“Perfect place to stay in Maui!” This apartement was just perfect!It was clean,everything you needed was there and it was very pretty and in a good condition.We enjoyed our one week stay there very much, and would always stay there again when going back to Maui!

“more than expected!” To our suprise the unit had boggie boards, louged chairs,umbrella for beach usaged. Kitchen fully equip however the ice maker is not hook up with the water supply,(w/c can be easily fix). The condo right across from the small beach park perfect for children less waves, only about 5-7 blocks bigger park, bigger waves, very close to restaurant and groceries store. This condo is great for budget traveler like me. Oh!food expensive in Hawaii, so try to bring your fave munchies, like chips,choco,candies, only dry items no liquid or jello products, you may carryon this items with you (yap!airline employee). A car is a must if you are planing to hop from on beach to another. Don't waste your money/time going to Hana or garden of Eden, enjoy and have fun with the beach activities instead, the JOY is there!

“The perfect choice” My adult daughter and I enjoyed our stay here, beyond our expectations. The condo was clean and quiet, very safe. The best thing? The proximity to the beach. We did the 5 minute walk to Kamole 1 every morning after our breakfast out on the lanai. There is a Foodland market within 2 miles and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We are already planning our next trip and have spread the word on this little gem.
