“Comfortable for family vacation. Pool great for granddaughter. Beach close walk.” The condo was comfortable for our family vacation including 2 year old granddaughter. Quiet location most of the time. Convenient to beach - great sunsets every night. Staff quickly responded to replace leaking coffee pot; if you cook a good deal from scratch, the kitchen equipment might not have everything you want. We were able to make most meals easily.

“Clean, modern, wonderful place to stay” When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and clean the condo was. It was like being home. Beautiful grounds, pool, and easy access to beach.

“Home away from home” I did a lot of research in finding an appropriate place for me and my family to stay in while in Maui, and this was by far an affordable and wonderful condo. It had an ocean view (kalepolepo beach- pretty to see but a tad too muddy to swim in for our liking, maybe it was a season issue?) from a spacious lanai. Whenever we travel we like to feel as if we are at home and that's the feeling we got when we came to live here. We cooked wonderful meals, relaxed in the Jacuzzi after a long day of going to all the beaches at night, and felt like a part of maui for a week. The condo itself was very clean, had everything we wanted and needed, only thing missing was a weight scale to weigh the luggage but that's just being a little picky on my part. Tips would be to go to Costco after you land in Kahului because its literally a few blocks away from the airport and stock up on food for the week, very helpful. From there its about 20 min drive to kihei. Another tip is to make sure you go to ululanis shaved ice, not too far from condo, for delicious Hawaiian shaved ice!! All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back to this condo when we return to maui. Thank you again!!

“Perfect place to stay in Maui!” This apartement was just perfect!It was clean,everything you needed was there and it was very pretty and in a good condition.We enjoyed our one week stay there very much, and would always stay there again when going back to Maui!

“more than expected!” To our suprise the unit had boggie boards, louged chairs,umbrella for beach usaged. Kitchen fully equip however the ice maker is not hook up with the water supply,(w/c can be easily fix). The condo right across from the small beach park perfect for children less waves, only about 5-7 blocks bigger park, bigger waves, very close to restaurant and groceries store. This condo is great for budget traveler like me. Oh!food expensive in Hawaii, so try to bring your fave munchies, like chips,choco,candies, only dry items no liquid or jello products, you may carryon this items with you (yap!airline employee). A car is a must if you are planing to hop from on beach to another. Don't waste your money/time going to Hana or garden of Eden, enjoy and have fun with the beach activities instead, the JOY is there!

“Easy to arrange and surpassed exppectations” First time renting a vacation property through the internet, the overall experience surpassed what I expected. It was easy to reserve and coordinate with the property management. They were friendly and helpful on the phone. The property itself met my expectations and perhaps was even better than expected considering the price and location. It was a great stay in Maui. I would definitely recommend Rentals Maui to anyone looking for a place to stay that they can trust.

“Kihei Stay” I would consider coming back. Very affordable pricing. The unit has been upgraded (except for the TV). We did spot one cockroach, but those are native to the island. Location isn't uber busy, which I recommend for a mellow/relaxing vacation. I would definitely consider coming back.

“Nice property, unit 105a could use some updates” The grounds of the Maui Sunset are very nice and well maintained. The pool is good but very "rules oriented" (i.e. can't horseplay with your children). Unit 105A had all needed amenities but could definitely use some renovations and upgrades (still has a VHS player!). Carpet must be replaced, sofabed matress was AWFUL and the main bed was quite uncomfortable. Did like the A/C and ceiling fans.

“Comfortable and quiet condo” Maui Sunset is a very well maintained property. This unit is comfortable and well supplied with amenities, but has not been updated like others in the complex. I was there for an extended stay, and management was excellent (Wendy).

“We'll be back (said in my best Schwarzenegger voice)” Our 10 days at the Maui Sunset were amazing. Beautiful grounds, great for the kids, just open the door and go. We will definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again. That being said, this particular unit could use just a little tlc. A few updates on fixtures (faucets in particular). Also, we travelled with 3 other families and the other 3 units offered beach accesorries, ie; chairs, boogie boards, large cooler, etc. Our unit did not offer any of these items. We found out that it is up to the individual owners what the guests have access to. By no means am I complaining, those items just would have been nice. In closing, I highly reccommend the Maui Sunset and this particular unit. The Robinson's

“Maui Sunset A wonderful place for family & friends” We've been staying at the Maui Sunset since the late 80's. First were our parents,then us, now our children and soon their little ones. That says a lot about a place when you have had three generations returning year after year! Can't say enough nice things about the Sunset. Much appreciation to Wendy at Kumulani.

“Wonderful!” Our condo, 412B, at Maui Sunset was completely updated and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. Units at this complex can vary depending on who you are renting from. We were very happy with this unit rented from Kumulani, and would definitely do so again. The Kumulani staff was terrific!
