“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Comfortable, convenient and well stocked McCann's Maui Vista” McCann's Maui Vista is a home away from home! It has everything you need to prepare meals, go to the beach and relax in style. The unit is well decorated and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice, the towels were fluffy and smelled clean. The kitchen had pots, pans, baking sheets, knives cutting boards juice jugs. You may think "big deal" but we have stayed in places where there have been a lack of these things and barring packing this stuff or buying it, it is nice to not have to worry! The multiple pool access is nice. We have small children so if there were an abundance of non children people at the closest pool, we just moved on to the next one. There were also times, more often than not, where we were the only ones at the pool. This may be because the non children people went somewhere else! Maui Vista is within a few minutes walk to the beach or shops and restaurants if one is so inclined. I would return to McCann's unit and I have recommended it to friends. It was a great experience!

“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.

“Serenity in Maui” My husband and I spent eight days at this lovely property, and quite simply, was the best house rental, and the best vacation we have ever taken. There are not enough words to tell you how beautiful the home is with all the stunning landscaping, yummy fruit trees,and great, private saltwater pool. The home is immaculate, and luxurious. Extremely clean, and absolutely stunning. Very comfortably furniture and great beds. Claudia, the owner is charming, and will be there when you need her for anything. Please, do yourself a favor and stay in this home. It is paradise!

“Great stay” Spent 2 weeks here and was not disappointed at all, it met all of our needs. The condo was very clean, kitchen we'll stocked, and most important was the bed was very comfortable. There was never any noise problems day or night. It's in a great location, short walk to lots of restaurants, gift shops, and. Of course the ice cream shop. Condo us also furnished with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and mats. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

“Fantastic Experience” Stayed with my partner, her 7yr old son, and 79yr old mother. Apartments on the North side were spacious, and even though it was a single room, had enough space for the four of us. Fantastic location with whales visible from the room/beach. Jim was commendable in being flexible with our plans, which due to flight availability, changed part way through discussions. He was very helpful in recommending locations and activities. Look forward to our next stay here.

“Can't beat the location” You could not ask for a better location in Kihei than where this condo is - you have a short 5 minute walk to Kamaole II. Kamaole II is great for snorkeling with rocks on both ends of the beach. There are several restaurants in walking distance in case cooking is not your thing. The outside lock box made our late night arrival hassle free - there was no need to wait for anyone to come and unlock the doors for you. It was also nice to have an assigned parking spot and the registration the next morning was a breeze. The condo has all you need for a great vacation - the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve. Both the condo and the appliances were clean and in great condition. It was raining the day we arrived and the condo was feeling hot and damp and it took a couple of days to dry out, perhaps it had not been used for a while. The main living area has an air conditioning unit - unfortunately the cooling does not reach the bedroom. We also were "lucky" enough to have a few hot and humid evenings and nights with no wind which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable. However when the winds are present the nature's air conditioning flows great between the rooms. During cooler months this should be adequate for keeping the bedroom cool. In all our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely stay here again.
