“Great Views” We had a lovely time in Maui. #317, Kahana Reef Was very comfortable,peaceful, with the wonderful sound of ocean surf. The condo has great views of Molokai. The weather was off and on due to a Kona Low. There was Big Waves, had much fun watching Sail Boarders and Kite Surfers. Very close to Maui Brewing which was fun to sample their Beers and the food was pretty tasty. The condo had everything we needed. Pool is a bit small. Hot tub would have been great especially with the cooler weather.

“El Dorado Condo D206” This condo enjoys a great position within the El Dorado complex with wonderful views of the ocean. the near by Islands and of course the Sunsets. Very convenient to parking, the reception area and one of the three pools on the property. It is a short walk to the beach and the private cabana or you could take the resort shuttle cart at your convenience. Whalers village, with shopping and restaurants, is very close and an easy walk as are the other Kaanapali resort areas and Dukes's on the Beach. Lahina is a five minute drive with more shopping, including a Safeway, and many more restaurants. The condo is well equipped, clean and very comfortable and we really appreciated the additional paper goods and cleaning supplies that were provided. The full length lanai is a great place to relax at the end of a "Busy" day on the beach and watch those sunsets. We had a great vacation and our thanks to Walt and his staff and the friendly resort staff for making it a great time in paradise, and we will be back.

“Maui vacation” This is our second time staying at Honua Kai but our first time in this unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our experience has been wonderful with Maui Westside from our late night arrival to the unit and our subsequent dealings with them. They responded in a timely manner to all our concerns. The unit was well equipped with all the basics such as laundry soup, paper towels and dish soup. We were pleasantly surprised by the partial ocean view from the unit. We look forward to our next visit.

“Beautiful spacious semi-private condo in Kaanapali Beach area” We just returned to the mainland after staying seven days in unit B206 at the Maui Eldorado. We loved the semi-private corner location of this very spacious condo. We loved the quiet setting but also loved the ability to walk to Whalers Village, the Kaanapali Shorewalk, restaurants, etc. There is an upscale strip mall close by that has a gym, coffee shop, and a well stocked general store. Maui Eldorado has its own private beach cabana on the quiet side of Black Rock Beach. The resort provides golf cart transportation to and from the beach cabana. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a golf cart. It's a quick trip that is walkable if one decides to skip the golf cart. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The property manager Barb was so helpful and responsive to any questions. She was a joy to work with before and during our stay. We were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of B206. We definitely would stay here again.

“June in maui” We went to kihei for my husbands birthday. We stayed in kihei beach 506. Everything was wonderful and the condo was very clean. We loved the location. We were very happy being directly on the beach and loved sitting on the deck. The best part was we slept so good on that wonderful bed. I definitely would stay there again if we go back to Maui. “Kihei Beach Condo” What a beautiful condo with amazing views! “Amazing View!” We had a great stay in Maui at the Kihei Beach Resort. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed looking for whales. Fantastic walking beach where we could have walked about six miles in a northerly direction. The ali'i property management met us our first day and checked back with us to see if we had any questions. If we ever return to Maui, we definitely will consider staying here again!

“Sugar Beach sweetness” Sugar Beach has a convenient location to the airport and Lahaina. It's away from the more crowded part of Kihei and right on a very nice beach. Condo was well stocked, clean, and the grounds are very well kept including the pool/spa area. They have water equipment to rent and a nice BBQ area. I have already recommended it to family and friends. Finally, the resort representatives were extremely friendly and checked in periodically throughout our stay to make sure everything was going ok. “Would stay here again without hesitation” Great beach/water location. Loved being able to sit on the Lanai and see whales, dolphins and hear the waves and yet high enough that had complete privacy from anyone on the beach. Great location on Maui (central) which was great for getting to/from other activities. The condo provided our family of 5 with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was as expected. The unit is on the 5th floor at the end of the complex away from the elevator so you either use the 5 flights off stairs or a walk from the elevator (but this also gives the privacy). The only two items I would recommend that could be improved were that that the oven took 45 minutes to pre-heat to 400 degrees (minor given that we only used it twice) and it would be nice to have a few water toys included for the kids to use, given that it was such a great beach location. We spent quite a bit of time in the water right in front of the place and it would have been nice for the kids to have a few water toys such as a boogie board, paddle board, or mask and snorkel. This was our first trip to Maui and we are completely happy with this unit and would stay here again.

“Great value. Nice place.” Overall a great value, and I would consider staying there again. Ideally, I would get a unit that faced the ocean directly, rather than the complex interior. The complex is older, but you'll only notice this from the layout. The unit itself was updated and very clean and well stocked. The pictures are accurate with a nice pool+grass+beach+ocean view. Plenty of parking. Nice people. Kihei worked well for us as it was centrally located, but be aware that it has a reputation for being windy, and was for us. Positive experience, we enjoyed it, but consider these few items that may influence your selection: You can hear mild road noise There's a constant AC or Koi pond pump hummmmm. Don't know if you can escape this anywhere, but it distracted me from the ocean sounds One of the bedrooms shares a wall with the elevator, and you can hear and feel it when it's active Check the location on a map...there's not much around the complex. We liked that, but you may want easier walking access to places and activities.

“All about the view” This place is a bit away from the action and requires one to get into the car for anything from restaurants to nicer public beaches. BUT the views are absolutely fantastic! Sitting down for dinner on our lanai was very special. The sunset was beautiful. The complex was nice with all that you really need: BBQs, Pool, small beach, etc... The unit is well located on the 4th floor to maximise the view. Although the Kitchen has been renovated some other aspects of the unit probably needs renovations. Everything is functional, but aesthetics are just OK. I would still highly recommend.

“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.
