“Best Birthday Trip EVER!!” My friends and I stayed at this cabin for my birthday this past winter and it was a blast. The place had so much personality to it that it really felt like home or the home of a relative. The only thing we had to bring was the food and beverages. We enjoyed the hot tub and even took a dip in the freezing cold river the first night we were there. We cozied up by the fire both inside and outside while we were there. We didn't do much fishing but we should have with all the fish we saw darting around in the water located just steps away from the cabin. The night skies were amazing to look at while we relaxed in the hot tub or some of us sat around the camp fire telling laughing and telling stories. This will definitely go down as one of my most memorable birthdays and I look forward to coming back again soon for a one of a kind experience!!!

“A home away from home” We stayed in this log cabin last week for 5 days. This is a very beautiful cedar log cabin. We love the serenity and being with mother nature. Stella, the contact person was very helpful and very nice to us. She is very professional to deal with. The beds were very comfortable and they had a chest full of board games. We enjoyed playing the guitar as well. The lake was not too far. We enjoyed boating there, of course! If you're looking for a log cabin to stay for vacation or just to unwind, I will highly recommend this dream away cabin to give a try! Thanks!

“Great weekend with friends!!” This cozy cabin is set back off the road and private. I enjoy the porch and its quiet, peaceful surroundings. My kids like the creek and hammock. With the full size kitchen we brought our own food and just stayed at the cabin to relax. We'll be back again!!

“Family Birthday Bash” I wanted to do something special for my husband's 65th birthday, and since his greatest pleasure in life is to have his children at his table, even though costly I decided to rent a house for all of us in Branson (since that is his favorite place in all of the world). His son and daughter in law flew into Springfield from Virginia, and the rest of the children and grandchildren also came. there were 12 of us. What a wonderful house! What a wonderful Time! Everything you need is there. It is clean, and plenty of room for everyone! Pool table in the basement, with a fooseball table, and wii. Grandkids thought they were in heaven. Thank you! Money could never replace the Great time we enjoyed. The "hill" is overwhelming, but after a few times it became normal.

“Wonderful Getaway” My husband, myself, my 20 year old college daughter and her friend stayed at the Bear Cliff cabin. I wanted something where my daughter could get some rest and do some Christmas shopping. The cabin was beautiful and very clean!!! “Wonderful!” We stayed in the Heron's Nest for a family reunion. It was a wonderful! Both the reunion and the cabin and the stay. Being on the river was a different experience for me as I'm used to lakes and beaches. But it was superlative! The morning mists cloaked the river in a blanket of fog from which trees, water, and the occassional barge emerged slowly over the early morning. The chimes played a quiet background vibrant hum that was quite appropriate. I sat out on the deck and watched the mists rise and dissipate then watched the sunlight play as sparkling diamonds over the water. It was wonderful and I did some writing in this wonderful environment. I plan to come back just for myself in the future. I wouldn't have left but I had to come back to the big city for my job. The cabin is multi-storied and big. Each of us, singly or as a mini-group, had our own level and plenty of room. Bug and Michelle and the rest of the staff are very warm and wonderful people and made us feel like family. The area abounds in so many things to do! Some days we just stayed in and grilled and enjoyed being there. Others we went out hiking, caving, and exploring. We definately all want to come back again next year! We had a wonderful time and now have wonderful memories! I would highly recommend these cabins and the Heron's Nest in particular. It's nicely situated on the river to watch the river and the small amount of river traffic (which are actually very nice to watch). And has a nice hot tub, campfire area, dock, etc. It's in nicely quietly remote yet not too far from a lot of fun things to do. Five stars! - Grant

“Incredible cabin getaway” To begin, we were absolutely beyond thrilled staying here. One of our best vacations!! It was our first time using flipkey and our host Randy was nothing short of phenomenal. He was VERY quick to communicate and friendly as can be with the entire process. Very professional and courteous during the stay and gave us great tips along the way for things to see and do in the area. This was our first time in Tennessee and it was everything we had hoped for. The cabin itself is very clean, high end and luxurious and well put together. Roomy, new everything and all amenities someone could ask for were provided. The cabin is a hidden gem and a paradise of its own with how nice the inside is and just how secluded and private the outside is. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and firepit and made use of the extensive and full kitchen to entertain outside on the huge deck with all of the provided patio furniture. Think of this place as modern rustic with everything you would expect of a high end house and all of the charm of a small cabin in the woods. The place has a very welcoming feel to it and we settled in nicely for a weekend stay. There was so much to do in the local area from kayaking to hiking to swimming to cave exploring and more. We simply didn't have enough time to check it all out so we will have to come back! The cabin is incredible and the area it's on is even better and the host being so friendly and helpful really made the whole experience. If you are looking to relax or entertain or take an outdoors adventure. This is the best place you could ask for and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is beyond worth the asking price and you will find yourself wishing you had a place like this as your own. I cannot rave about the experience enough and truly think Randy (the host) has a hidden slice of paradise here. Enjoy the fireplace inside, the granite counter tops, the incredible master bathroom and the sauna and expansive deck for a weekend or week you won't soon forget. I couldn't ask for more. Give this place a stay and you won't regret it.
