“A tropical getaway with all the comforts of home.” Property management staff was very helpful with all our arrangements, even arranging transportation from the airport. Felt very safe in the complex, very nice young lady came in twice in the 7 days we stayed and cleaned and straightened up. The home was beautiful with wonderful sunset view. We were 5 adults who were attending a wedding at Diria and we had plenty of space. The resort is beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly. Just about all the restaurants we ate at were reasonably priced and the food was delicious. You could also walk to the little grocery stores. The pools were wonderful and the grounds were impeccably kept. The nightclubs close fairly early and the casino was small but all in all we loved walking around at night and felt safe. The roads and sidewalks in Tamarindo are undergoing improvements so driving is a little crazy. "Double yellow lines mean nothing in Costa Rica". Riding to and from the airport was an adventure in itself. I wish I could go back - 7 days was not enought to see this beautiful country.

“Awesome and Totally amazing!” The Condo: This was our first visit to CR and at the risk of sounding very repetitive, I am going to say it anyway. This Condo is absolutely amazing! We were actually taken back by the views, the weather, and beauty of it all. The condo itself is very well maintained. The beds are very nice and excellent to sleep on. there is usually a very nice breeze that can get strong at times so you need to be careful of the bedroom doors. The condo is relatively close to the beach at say 200 to 250 yards. The local terrain is very hilly and as such it us a little bit of a walk uphill when you come back from the beach. Our Garmin and Trackit Maps didn't show Oceanica on any of the categories so you may have to use the resort right across the street to find it as addresses are not used in CR at all. We give this one 5 star rating!!! Well worth the time to visit. Daphne: Daphne was absolutely the best host you could ever ask for! She provided all the information I asked for and needed. She even graciously helped with the car rental (Economy). Daphne is indeed kind and tremendously gracious. Restaurants: We chose to eat at the local restaurants (locals call them Sodas). There are a good number of these within say 5 miles and all are wonderful. Local CR cuisine is amazing and filling. Even though we do not speak Spanish it wasn't that hard to figure out and order food. Ticas and Ticos are wonderful people. We would definitely go back in a heart beat!

“Spacious with great patio overlooking the ocean” I just returned from Tamarindo Sunrise #16's penthouse condo. The things I most appreciated were: It had huge vaulted ceilings, lots of towels, a DSL router, cd player, washer/dryer, room safe, nice pool, ice maker, lots of plug-ins, elevator, huge covered patio with a solid wood table which was great for entertaining and great to hide out under when it rains, and security guards. As a single woman traveler I felt safe at this place. The location is by far the best in all of Tamarindo. Right in the heart and right across the little street to the beach where the good surfing is. Everything is literally a short walking distance. Try the restaurants Nibbana, La Esquina, and Seasons. The kitchen could use a few more matching glasses and a juice/water pitcher, but otherwise it had everything that I needed. The RPM service that managed the property tended to my concerns/requests promptly. The thing I didn't like was having to pick up and drop off the keys before and after at a location a couple blocks away, but the shuttle driver was accommodating. What more can I say...great place and great trip!
