“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Awesome stay!” Every year my friends and I plan a trip to the Poconos and we definitely lucked out with our choice this year. This house is immaculate, large, and has tons of amenities within the home, community, and surrounding area. We personally loved the screened in fire-pit and hot tub which I may add are on opposites sides of a huge deck. In addition, the owner Christine was very responsive and helpful before, during, and after my stay. I will definitely be booking this house again with Christine! I would recommend this home to friends and family! Enjoy your stay!

“Our home away from home!” We have rented with the Boumans for the past 4 years and this residence has always exceeded our expectations. The home is immaculately kept and offers all the amenities a family could need for a comfortable vacation. It is conveniently located within a short walking distance from the bay and the ocean, as well as restaurants, playgrounds and fishing/crabbing. Spending a week in Lavallette every summer has become a tradition for our family and we could not imagine doing so without staying at this rental property.
