“Incredible Getaway” This is a great place to stay when vacationing in St. Thomas. Max is an incredible host and generously shares her home and her knowledge of the islands. Rent a car if you don't like trekking up the hill, but we made it okay without one.

Harbor View - Big Views & Sunsets In Cruz Bay

Cruz Bay apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 2

“Best view in the islands!” For several years now, my favorite form of relaxation at Harbor View is kicking back in the evening and watching the setting sun slide down behind St. Thomas ...while sipping away at something with a lime in it. Great location. Just a couple minute walk downhill to the ferry dock, restaurants, the Dolphin grocery and easy-going night life in Cruz Bay. Super staff at St. John Properties.

Relax 4 Us at Bolongo Bay ~ USVI

Charlotte Amalie apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Excellent property and great destination!” Our stay here was wonderful! We just came back a few weeks ago (Jan 7-14) from our trip and we are ready to book for the next year! We had such a great time: Accommodations - The apartment is very clean and modern. It has nice comfortable beds and lovely décor in every room. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary utensils and appliances. Bathrooms are clean and modern. I loved the cherry wood doors and marble countertops all around. There is a large balcony that you can eat or relax out on. Beach chairs, towels etc. is also provided for you. Beach - you can go downstairs and you are at the Bolongo Bay beach, its lovely, you have all the water sports options that you would find at a typical resort right there. If you walk past the restaurants and the hotel (5 minute walk along the beach), there is a great snorkeling spot past the rocks, very cool! We had a rental car so we also drove (about 15 min) to Smith Bay. This beach is pure heaven! It seems to be mainly visited by locals and is not crowded with perfect white sand and beautiful calm blue waters. Pool - There are a couple of pools that you can use. We used the one by the beach; it had a tap to wash off the sand as well. The pool was nice and clean and the water was pretty warm. Food - Like I mentioned you have everything you need to prepare your food 'at home' if you are on a budget or have specific dietary needs. There are many supermarkets that deliver or you can shop in a warehouse type place (CostUless) or a supermarket (Pueblo) or some local stands that are all around. There are three popular restaurants directly in the Bolongo Bay area so you don't ever have to leave the area if you choose not to: • Iggys - casual burger type place• Mims - fancier place that serves sea food• Lobster Grill - very fancy There is a lot to do on the island and its neighbors, but we have small kids so we took it easy this time and just enjoy the water. Next time we rent this apartment, we will explore the island.

Poi Pu St John Villa - great views & total privacy

Cruz Bay house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Lifetime Memories” My family and friends rented Poi Pu for a week this past June. We had an amazing time. We loved the rock double shower. Several nights we cooked dinner and everyone ate out on the deck what a beautiful experience. It was also located close to some of the most beautiful beaches ever. The house was very clean, great amenities, cozy, and we were comfortable. If we needed anything we could call the property management and they were prompt to offer advice or their services if needed. It was also the little things that made our stay like the beach accessories that we were able to use instead of having to rent them daily. Those costs could have added up quickly. A beautiful home with a beautiful view. We can't wait to return. Also we were traveling with our 10 month old daughter. She took her very first steps at Poi Pu. We made lasting memories for our family.

Quart-A-Nancy Point, Cooper Island, BVI

Cooper Island house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“We want to return!” We had 12 glorious days at Quart-A-Nancy Point. What a fabulous spot. This was truly the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. We have sailed to Cooper Island for the last 10 years, and decided to rent a house this time. The best decision ever! The views are spectacular, the hermit crabs very entertaining, snorkeling and kayaking for exercise, and enjoying reading on the beautiful outdoor living room porch (love the hammock!). Everything about this home is ideal. We'll be back. Thank you to Fred and Candia for allowing us to rent your paradise.

Waterfront Escape: Paradise at a Great Price!

East End studio

Studio / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Perfect Honeymoon” My husband and I stayed at this property at the end of June/early July for our honeymoon...which ended up being great because St. John was celebrating carnival! We didn't rent a car and had no trouble navigating the island. However, we like to do things "off the beaten path"...I don't think everyone would enjoy the safari buses or "gypsy" taxi drivers, but we really enjoyed both and you can't beat the price. $1 per person go travel to Red Hook?! Billy's list of transportation, activities, etc. was amazing. We went to Coki Beach - interact with locals and snorkeling, St. John - hiking/beautiful beaches/carnival, Red Hook for groceries and restaurants/bars, Charlotte Amalie for shopping/pier/more food (avoid at all costs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - cruise ships come in these days), Magen's Bay - beautiful and great to relax, Linquist Beach - this one was a little to windy and too much sea grass for me, but my husband enjoyed it. Some of our favorite restaurants were Duffy's (not so much the food, but the atmosphere and bartender were great), XO Bistro (amazing food and cocktails, fine dining atmosphere), Greengos (Mexican cuisine in Charlotte Amalie - fun sitting in the shopping corridors), Tap & Still (great burgers). Latitude 18 was our absolute favorite. Laid back, live music, great food, and friendly locals right on the water. The actual condo was perfect for us because we were out and about except to shower and sleep. I did cook breakfast almost every morning (there was plenty of cooking equipment for this), but we ate at a different beach or restaurant for every other meal. There were plenty of towels (for showers and the beach), bedding, and toiletries. We loved the coolers, so we could save on beverage costs when we went to the beaches. The only confusing part was the transportation around the resort. Initially, we were told we had to pay $40 a day for transportation. We kept calling for golf cart rides to the front gate (where we would catch the safari bus or a taxi)...waiting for them to ask us for payment, but they never did. A couple days into the trip, I met a very friendly resort employee and she said that was absolutely incorrect and the resort employees will take us anywhere on the grounds for no charge. The $40 a day transportation is if you wanted to go anywhere off grounds. Not a big deal, but incase someone else is told they have to pay $40...here you go. Billy was great to work with and his communication couldn't have been better. All-in-all, we can't wait to come back! It was an amazing start to our marriage :)

Drake's View: Voted Best View in the Caribbean

Coral Bay villa

4 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Incredible, Gorgeous View!” Our family stayed at Drake's View June 13th - July 1st, 2013. We needed a villa with 4 bedrooms. It was the "view" from Drake's View that won it over! Wow, what an incredible, gorgeous view of Coral Bay & the Bvi's! The Kit, LR & DR areas are all on the upper level & flow into each other so you always feel a part of what's going on & with several seating areas, you can have your space too! There are 3 bdrms on the lower level in the main house & a private 1 bdrm cottage. All are equal with a/C & kg beds with 1 in the main house having the option to be made into twins. Entry to 1 of the bedrooms in the main house is off the porch so you have to walk outside to get to it. The kit was well equipped & used & so was the BBQ grill. We ate about ½ our meals at the villa while enjoying the view! We used the pool & hot tub just about every day after coming back from the beach. The pool gets good sun until mid-day & is larger than most. It has a gradual slope to deep end & has a built-in bench all along the length of the pool. You can sit there or in the hot tub & enjoy a nice view. The villa has plenty of outdoor seating space, sun & shade, to gather as a group or find a quiet space to yourself! Even though you could see a couple villas on other hillsides, they were far enough away & situated to where we felt complete privacy! In the evenings we enjoyed listening to music on the stereo...speakers worked great...while playing Scrabble & card games. The villa only has 1 TV...no big deal because we don't typically watch TV. The large capacity W/D are on the lower level & conveniently located near the pool's ½ bath for wet suits & towels & near the bdrms. They were used often during our 18 night stay & worked great! We loved Drake's View & the Bordeaux Mtn location...the view, close to Maho Bay & close to our family's favorite Coral Bay restaurant...Shipwreck Landing!

Spectacular Sunsets & Ocean Views Remodeled Villa

Cruz Bay villa

3 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 10

“Great location, beautiful view, all the amenities you need!” We just returned from our honeymoon in St. John and Heavenly Villas was perfect for our time on the island, and the views from the deck are incredible. The villa is the perfect size for a couple, or a very small group, and had everything we needed. We had breakfast and coffee on the deck each morning, and spent most evenings there watching the sunset before going out for dinner. We also took advantage of the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler and didn't have to worry about buying anything aside from food and drinks while we were down there. Josh, the property manager, was very helpful, and everything went smoothly when we arrived to check in, meeting us at the ferry dock, and he also helped us get in touch with our jeep rental company. He also had the villa provisioned for us with food and drinks we had requested. The villa is located a short 2 minute drive from downtown Cruz Bay, and a short drive to all the beautiful beaches, so it made it easy for us to get anywhere on the island. Scott, the owner, was very helpful and super responsive throughout the booking process, and made everything super easy and stress-free, which was much appreciated. We will definitely be returning and recommending Heavenly Villas to friends!

Captain's View - Best Views In Town, Day or Night

Cruz Bay apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“The best view of paradise!!” Captain's View is certainly a delight of St. John's. I visited there in the summer of 2011 and the accommodations were perfect! Plenty of room for listening to island tunes and enjoying lunch or dinner at the villa. Capt's View is close enough to town to walk down and enjoy all the fine dining and night life that St. John's has to offer without having to rent a car. The aC kept me cool at night on the evenings it was needed and the bed was very comfortable. All is all a great place to stay while in St. John and would absolutely stay there again!

Beauty, Comfort, Value! Your Home in the Caribbean

Charlotte Amalie house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. This was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Take Care!

Villa Peace & Plenty on St. John, VI's Northshore
Paradise Found

Breathtaking views! This home was a perfect retreat for 3-4 couples. It conained every ammenity imagineable, and afforded the luxury of seclusion. The roadway leading to the house was harrowing at times, but at the same time added to the ambiance of the residence. We loved it, and are considering returning with our children and grandchildren. Peace and Plenty did not disappoint!see more
Las Brisas Caribe
Fabulous

We love Las Brisas Caribe, and this is our second visit to this fabulous villa. There are three separate wings, so it accommodates a large family or couples comfortably and with privacy. The villa is beautifully decorated and landscaped, with a private pool, and located conveniently to the downtown area and beaches. We especially loved watching the sunset from the Crows Nest every night, with a Pain Killer in hand. We can't wait to go back.see more
Sea View Beach Cottage
Another week in paradise.

My favorite place in the world is St. John, Usvi. Last week I returned for my daughter's wedding. What a beautiful location for an even more beautiful event. While on St. John I stayed at Gallow's Point Seaview, a home as beautiful as the island itself. This was my third stay at the Seaview cottage and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Close to Cruz Bay, this place is a piece of heaven on earth. Thank you Richard. We returned to Rhode Island yesterday and are already looking forward to our return to this great location. Peter Bay-Cinnamon Breeze
Cinnamon Breeze on incomparable Peter Bay

We were a family group of parents with college age and teenage kids. From the moment we pulled up to the gatehouse tower, each one of us began a marvelous week. Beautiful architecture resonant with local history, lush peaceful garden and outdoor spaces, fun walk to the private beach with excellent snorkeling, comfortable restful bedrooms with balconies and large en suite baths, and well-appointed kitchen. We left the house only to snorkel, island-hop on a chartered boat, and deep sea fish - the rest of the time we were most happy to soak up the expansive view and enjoy the villa environment. Excellent support staff, caterers available for grocery delivery or guest chef. Best vacation ever!see more
Villa Coco de Mer Peter Bay Majestic Beach Views
Thanks giving Wedding at CoCo de mer

My husband and I just got back from a week at CoCo de Mer on St. John. While there, we celebrated our wedding and Thanksgiving! The house and Tommy, the guest contact on the island, were wonderful. The views from the home are sweeping and beautiful. The common areas and bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. Also, the kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Three minor issues are these: the walk to the private beach is long and difficult, especially for older folks and the pool water was pretty chilly. All in all, we had a wonderful visit and hope to return!see more
Eco Friendly Beachfront Villa
Great House and Setting

I agree with every positive comment made by others. This was our second year of staying at Reef Bay. There were 6 of us, including four teenage girls. There is so much living space! The design is remarkable. Our days were full: from hiking to the petroglyphs, swimming at the nearby beach (quietest scenic beach that you'll ever see), and sampling the island's beautiful north shore beaches. The house is a nature lovers dream, looking over the National Park. The owner and caretaker were always quick to answer any questions I had leading up to our visit. After arriving, we never needed help because we had no problems!see more
