“Wow! Complete paradise! Can't wait to go back again... and again” This was our second time to the Lattice House and it was even more spectacular than the first time. Besides the house and property being absolutely gorgeous, the people are amazing (especially the house host, Ana!) and the wildlife and nature is second to none. Wether staying at the house or going on excursions, I can't imagine anyone not enjoying and living up every second. This time, the "lawn" and surrounding area was cleared out more and trails were marked. We headed down to the waterfall but beware, it is a little bit of a hike but completely worth it! We picked fruit from the orchard for fruit bowls for breakfast and spent as much time as we could in the infinity pool. Highly recommend waking up early with the howler monkeys in the morning. The animals are super active at this time and we even saw a family of wild boars on property. So awesome. Ana, the house host was the best. She was always readily accessible and answered all our questions and gave us the best recommendations. This is the best vacation we have ever been on (twice!) and can't wait to go back next year.

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Wow! You'll love the Red Sunset!” Are you looking for a luxury guesthouse near Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano? If so, look no further and book yourself into the Red Sunset. My husband and I, along with six friends, spent a week in March there. We are so glad we did! We found the accommodations to be everything they were advertised and more. The views are amazing and the house, pool house and grounds will give you plenty of opportunities to relax and explore. While the guesthouse is excellent, the very best feature is the owner/operator Patrick. Patrick met with us each day to help us plan activities and make reservations with the best tour operators. His local knowledge and recommendations were spot on each day, and his help was invaluable. The breakfast provided each morning was a highlight unto itself. Come prepared to eat well – you won’t be disappointed. We’ve never had meals of this quality at similar style lodgings. We also took advantage of the optional evening Chef services. While there were several great places to eat in the Lake Arenal area, all of which were recommended to us by Patrick, you won’t beat the meals prepared by Patrick and his wife. Our favorite was the Chicken Parmesan – sorry, Mom, but it was the best we’ve had anywhere! The Red Sunset was the perfect place for our Costa Rica vacation. We arrived as guests and soon felt like family. We’re glad we chose the Red Sunset!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Beautiful condo, very friendly owners!!!” As we love to explore and participate on as many outdoor activities as possible, we needed to stay on a central location. This was perfect for us as arenal Volcano is within 1.5 hrs drive to the left and Monteverde within the same distance to the right. Liberia airport just about the same distance (all in all, very convenient for our purposes) note: as Costa Rica has so much to offer, 1.5 hrs is not an unusual drive if you want to experience as many activities and sites as you can) All the units are state of the art (wireless, fiber high-speed internet, kitchen appliances, etc) and with all the amenities of a very modern condo. The owners, Zen & Doreen were very nice and friendly and made us feel quite welcome. Thank you!!! :-) I have provided my e-mail address, in case anyone is interested in contacting me with any questions; I won't mind sharing and confirming all this information as I have nothing but great things to say about this place and their owners. “Near the Beach = fun!” i had a great time with my stay in Costa rica being right by the beach and having the pool right outside. The pool is gorgeous and always warm for late night swims! I am looking Forward for planning my next trip here!

“Unforgettable views and experience” We arrived back in the States on early Monday morning, and our regular work and family routine immediately slapped us in the face. What a harsh reality check after our amazing Costa Rican vacation! We had a fantastic time in Guanacaste, and Cass Fiesta was everything we imagined it would be - and a little bit more. The views were indescribably gorgeous. I would have been content to sit on the upper deck or poolside all day long and watch the sunshine and clouds change throughout the day. Casa Fiesta was such an incredibly relaxing setting. The house itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything needed to enjoy an extended stay. It feels like a remote and exotic location, but the beach, groceries, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain. The pool was a refreshing respite from the afternoon sun, and the hilltop temperatures were very comfortable - especially in the evening while enjoying sunset and twilight. The howler monkey calls and exotic bird fly-bys in the morning were enjoyed immensely on the deck while sipping coffee. Simply amazing. Casa Fiesta also benefits tremendously from Diego and Jennifer's presence. We especially enjoyed Jennifer's meal (arguably the best we had all week!) and Diego's sage advice. Diego also took us whitewater rafting on very short notice and arranged everything. We couldn't have done it without him. As our vacation transitioned to other locations in Guanacaste, I found myself missing the scenic view from Casa Fiesta and wished we could have spent the entire duration on the seaside mountaintop overlooking Portrero. Thanks again for accommodating us, and we look forward to planning our next Costa Rican journey at some point in the not-too-distant future.

“Thoroughly Impressed” My stay at Casa Ceiba was simply relaxing, fun, and adventurous. The house is brand new, very clean, and well designed with 3 bedrooms, each with their own porch, a nice living room, and gourmet kitchen. The house has tile floors throughout and a wooden ceiling design that catches your eye as soon as you walk in. We enjoyed a spectacular view while hanging out in the pool and hot tub. Pool and house were cleaned every day, no issues! We were greeted each morning by a charming woman who took great care of us during our stay, cooking us gourmet breakfasts and dinners and treating us so very kindly. Nearby town of La Fortuna was quaint and plentiful of our needs and included a coffee house for which we went to a few times and enjoyed the best cup of coffee I ever had. Our Zip Lining adventure was quite exhilarating and within 10 minutes of the house. Our hike up the very well maintained Cerro Chato Volcano in nearby La Fortuna was the most challenging hike ever but I enjoyed every minute! We also visited one of the many hot springs which are located nearby and just enjoyed a great afternoon of relaxation and beautiful atmosphere. While we drove by many other rental properties in the area, I think our rental was in the best area, with the best view, and offered the most amenities. I highly recommend this rental and I plan to revisit next year.

“I'd stay her over and over again” Condo Tortuga is the perfect location for me. It's situated away from the main strip of Playa Guiones, towards the Gilded Iguana end of town. This means you are an easy walk from either part and you can get away from it all at the condo. Also, it's just 5 minutes to the beach, so perfect for my early morning and sunset surf sessions! The kitchen has everything you need and I found the bed and sofas very comfortable. There are nice little touches all over the place and Gary and Karen have put a lot of effort into making your stay a good one. You have to read their folder on things to do and see. It's the Nosara bible! There is a nice pool and that is looked after well. The condos, pool and grounds is surrounded by a wall and there is someone in the gate house 24/7. This gives that extra feeling of security. I've stayed in a couple of other condos here too. Each time, I've met and socialised with other people staying here too, so it's always been fun. My tip? Buy some meat and cold beers and fire up the grill :)

“Pura Vida” Excellent place to stay and cheap. Very nice clean modern villa with private pool and perfect for 2 couples or a family. Located in the center of Santa Teresa and right by the beach, which makes this villa a perfect destination. We were 2 couples and had a blast, cooked some amazing dinners in the large kitchen, and had good evenings playing music in the surround sound system and jumping in the pool. Enjoy :P P.S : Weather was great even though forecast said the opposite. Green season is very enjoyable and cheaper.

“Morales Family” Our stay at Daphne's condo was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable! The condo is nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The location offers quick access to pool area and beautiful scenic view from balcony. The Conchal Resort offers excellent shuttle service to all areas within resort property and staff is very friendly. Daphne was very helpful in providing information and travel tips. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next year. Thank you Daphne!

“An awesome, peaceful hideaway!” I discovered Finca Paraiso at B&B.com; and made reservations for Oct 2011. I usually rent a vehicle so the drive of about 30 minutes was not only interesting but exciting as well. The roads in CR are not well marked and are somewhat bumpy with a fair share of potholes. For the directionally challenged, the innkeeper might consider meeting the guests at the airport as an escort or taxi. On arrival, I was overwhelmed by the inspiring beauty of the property. The views are stunning. The grounds are superbly manicured and provide vast space for exploring and enjoying the peace and solitude of nature. There were hundreds of different plants, flowers, and trees. There is even a trout pond with waterfall. And, there is a mountain stream with many waterfalls that can be traversed. The inn has an indoor heated pool with a steam room too! As if all this isn't enough, my jaw dropped when I entered the suite. It was a villa with the space of three hotel rooms. The refrigerator was stocked with juice, bread, cheese, jam/jelly, and other foods. There was a fine bottle of wine as a welcome gift. It included a fireplace, living area, whirlpool tub, oversized queen bed, ample closet space and a bathroom with a large shower. There was television with DVD and cable service. Wired internet was also a feature. The room included a terrace with a table for enjoying meals outdoors. But the best part were the windows that surrounded the suite affording beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. I enjoyed time soaking in the quiet which allowed precious rejuvenation, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The innkeeper and his wife were very helpful in suggesting places to go and also in providing directions. They also provide a complimentary dinner of rainbow trout from the pond. A very delicious meal. I highly recommend Finca Paraiso. It will be my getaway of choice when visiting CR in the future. Pura Vida!

“Beautiful Property” The entire staff was terrific. Viviana was super helpful as she was able to make travel arrangements for us to make our stay enjoyable. Stephen was also terrific, he was great during booking and even called to check in with us while we were there. My only regret is not taking Stephen's recommendation to have our cars (Suvs!) delivered directly to the villa. Also, do not get anything but an SUV as a rental, a regular car will not make it up to the villa.
