This apartment is located in the neighbourhood of Prati, on Canal Street, only a few steps from the Vatican Museums (comprising the Sistine Chapel), and a short walk from Piazza del Risorgimento, which is the last part of "modern Rome" before Vatican City. At only a stone's throw from Piazza del Risorgimento is the impressive St. Peter's square with its Basilica di San Pietro in Vaticano: Being one of the most famous buildings in the world, this church of all churches requires no introduction.

All of Vatican City, with its sights of great historical and architectural value, is easily accessible on foot.

One of the most acclaimed and bustling shopping streets in Rome, Via Cola di Rienzo, begins on the Piazza del Risorgimento, leading east, right up to Piazza del Popolo.

The residential neighbourhood of Prati offers a different roman experience: Rather calm and quiet, and therefore the home of many Romans, this neighborhood offers many traditional shops and some of the best local restaurants frequented by residents, as well as bars and cinemas, in a typically European urban setting.

The Line to metro station "Cipro-Musei Vaticani" is at only 10 minutes from the apartment, and the numerous bus lines running through Piazza del Risorgimento will take you virtually anywhere in the city: The famous Spain square is only 4 metro stops away, and from there you can easily access the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, Campo de ' Fiori and other famous streets and monuments in the historic centre of Rome.
