All six of our cabins at Laurel Mountain Cabins (Dogwood, Azalea, Aster, Violet, and Lily), have both short and long range mountain views and sit on a quiet, paved and non-steep road that has a turnaround at the end of the road.

Azalea is a two story cabin with a king bedroom and large Jacuzzi jetted tub on second as well as a 1/2 bath upstairs. Downstairs has a full bath, a great room with a living room and dining area, as well as a full kitchen. It also has a Stone gas fireplace (seasonal use only), a Roku Streaming TV. An oversized, wrap-around porch with a swing and grill (grill use only on front side of cabin).

All bed and bath linens, paper goods, garbage bags, and starter soaps are provided. We provide links to areas of interest in the nearby townships of Hiawassee, GA, to help guide you from your cabin to waterfalls, hiking trails, wine vineyards, restaurants, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, and other seasonal activities and events.

We are an on-site property owner, available any time you need assistance.

We charge a $100 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of 2) payable upon arrival at the cabin. If you do not disclose your intent to bring a dog at time of booking, you will be charged an additional $100 dog fee! Please see our website for pet policy requirements before you book!

Response from the owner A very nice couple and we HOPE and expect them to return. Just want to clarify; we have 50 gallon hot water tanks set at 140 degrees. They did complain about the hot water, we checked the tank at 9pm, didn't see a problem but changed the heating elements the next morning to be sure. At check-out we were told they had tankless hot water at home which provides continuous hot water on demand, that’s what they were used to. We also have several irons and ironing boards in the office, I am sure they were not aware of that, our mistake.

How do damage deposits work?

If Scott and Iris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
