“Rustic & roomy with the essence of Rome.”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2012

We thourouly enjoyed the experience. The accommodation was clean plenty of room a very rustic feel just as we had imagined. And well located in the centre of Rome. Everything was very accessible. Rosaria was very pleasant & helpful. Organizing the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Excellent. The only downside was that the bath took a long time to fill. But if that's all we had to complain about I think we were well accommodated for. A big thank you to you Rosaria. Xx

“Confortable and nice apartment in the centre of Rome”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2011

This apartment is in the center of Rome, 3 minutes from Piazza Navona and its located in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is nice, it has central heating, fitted kitchen, bathroom, dining room. In addition, the mattress is very comfortable, important to rest for the next day. You can go walking to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and walking a little further to the Coliseum. We have visited all the monuments on foot. There is a supermarket near to buy all you need, a bus stop to Termini, etc.. The only drawback I found was that you could hear the street noise, but if you sleep is deep isn't problem. Rosaria, the owner, is nice and very friendly and she helps you with everything you need.

“Phantastic stay”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2011

We had an incredible and wonderful time at the clean and cosy apartment in Rome, which was at a perfect quiet location in downtown to reach every important sights by foot.Piazza Navona & Campo di Fiori and several good restaurants and shops (shoes!) are nearby. The booking and contact to the owner was absolutely uncomplicated. We can recommend totally at every time!

“Wonderful location and price!”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2011

This apartment is located right in the middle of everything. We were able to walk to most places that we wanted to see. The apartment was clean. The bed was a little hard and the shower a little cramped, but worked fine. For location and price it was all worth it and we would definately stay here again. Great price!!

“Convenient abode”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2011

I stayed in the apartment for 7 nights. It was really comfortable and had great proximity to Rome historic Center and shopping malls. I loved the cobbled streets and array of eatries and intricate buildings that are part of the whole italian culture and history. I hope to visit Rome again and plan to make a date with the same apartment.

“Handy man special”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2011

Location was very central, you can walk to most everywhere. Check in was good, there were some issues like no internet available and aC and TV not set up. Rosaria tried to be helpful with questions on where to go but not the mechanical stuff. There is no central aC. There is a portable aC in the apartment, we had to figureout how to set it up ourselves, which means leaving a window open to vent out the hot air. This means the apartment never cools down until early morning when the outside temp was cooler. Forget high speed internet or easy wifi. We were given a dial up 14.4 kbps internet stick with a sim card from a different provider from the stick. This never worked. We wasted nearly a day chasing around trying to contact Rosaria and her son (no phone in the apartment, we had to ask strangers to call her for us). We were told to go to the sim card dealer and get them to get it to work ourselves. The verdict was to get a proper stick which we had to pay for in advance and refunded when we left. It finally worked but only near the window as the signal was weak. It was also agonizingly slow with dialup over cell phone signals never going over 5kbps and lots of dropped signals. The TV wasn't set up. This we also had to figure out ourselves. The toilet leaks to a bucket and the floor everytime you flush, if you could get it to work. It either won't flush or would'nt stop. Again we had to figure out how to get it to work. The valve was held together with a deteriorating rubber band. There was also a loose floor tile in the kitchen, no big problem. The airport shuttle service arranged by Rosaria was well worth it. Right on time, good service, very reasonable price. We booked for 9 nights in the apartment but changed our plans a week before arriving to 8 nights but paid for all 9 nights, so make sure about the dates before you pay for the reservation. The apartment is in the second level with no elevator so you had to go up a flight of stairs. (Not handicap accessible)

“Wonderful place in a wonderful area”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2011

We have spent five marvelous days at this aparment. My wife, my doughter and myself found this place just perfect. The aparment was furnished with everything you could need for sleeping, cooking and reasting. Very clean and comfortable. The apartment is estrategically lockated to visit Rome. You can walk from 10 to 15 minutes to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, Panteon, Piazza Venecia, and so on... Shuttle service from and to the airport highly recomendable.Serious and punctual. 40 euros per trip. We really enjoyed this quarter of the city. Moreover you can find a supermarkert very close to the apartment as well as a fantastic market every morning at Campo di Fiori. If we ever come back to Rome we will stay in the same place.

“Great location, excellent service”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2011

We had a great stay at the apartment Navona. It is within easy walking distance of all the major sites and Rosaria was wonderful. She even helped return items to me that I left behind. We stayed in this apartment with a toddler and it was fine for him.

“Great stay in Rome”

Reviewed 14 Mar 2011

We loved this old apartment. It was very spacious for two persons and had everything we needed. The apartment felt very genuinly roman with old furniture in a style that we like. It was super clean and the location was perfect in a rather quiet street and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We would love to come back and stay a little longer.
