The residence enjoys a magnificent view over Via dei cappellari. The house is equipped with home automation technology that allows you to control some devices as conditioner and alarm system. All the rooms are elegantly furnished and represent a peaceful environment where you can relax. The special feature of the house is the connection through a spiral staircase, built in wrought iron to a private sunny terrace overlooking the roofs of Rome. “Fantastic location, great apartment”

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights in November 2015, and had a wonderful time. The apartment is ideally located near the vibrant Campo de Fiori, but away from the noise of the Piazza. The apa… More

“Great service, excellent location”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay near the Campo de Fiori. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of St Peter's, the Jewish Quarter, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. And of course the Campo. Great food and wonderful night life available there along with a lot of beautiful small restaurants. We think it's one of the best locations in Rome. The support from our booking agent, Manuel, was both kind and very very professional. Pickup and checkout were expertly handed -- we enjoyed the conversations and there was no problem at all with the return of the $150 security. My wife hurt her ankle on a trip to Pompeii; I had problems with a DHL overnight (entirely the fault of DHL) and he was immediately available & helpful at all times. The apartment is well-kept with two large bedrooms and two good-sized bathrooms. The layout is a little quirky (the two bedrooms adjoin & if you are two couples, one couple will have to walk though the other couple's bedroom to get outside) but we dealt with that without a problem. Loved the old world style of the building, especially at night, with the artisans of the street still selling their wares. We laughed when our taxi driver from the airport said "Mama Mia" when he found out how narrow the street was -- but that's part of the charm. It's in a neighborhood, not a busy street. But it's very close to Via Nazionale and cabs to take you anywhere in Rome. Superb location.

“Best companion for a week in Rome”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2015

Since the moment you arrive to the "Residenza" as they call it on Italian you have that feeling you are at home. Staff was very welcoming with an outstanding service from the moment you get off your taxi into the lobby. Rooms are neat and spacefull with a great variety of foods offered by the culinary staff at the restaurant. Went with a couple of friends to sightsee Rome with the ocasional party, and could not recommend the place more.

Response from the owner Dear Madam, we are very sorry that you have not been happy in our home, and that you didn’t address to us directly calling us, we would have tried to remedy your discomfort while you were still in the apartment. The apartment did not change from 2013, our mistake has been to not ask guests to do a review on TA, because satisfied by the beautiful words that you has been able to read on our guest book inside the apartment . We had never received critique about cleaning, we will present it to our staff. We will check the discomfort of hot water, since no one has ever complained, we carry out regular maintenance, I am a technician building manager trained and certified. Natural light comes in the bedroom from a window and in the bathroom from another window, In the living room it comes from from the door of the terrace. The apartment is located in a building of 1400, as most of the apartments in the historic center of Rome, it overlooks the picturesque alleys of the city and then the light is affected. No one has ever complained of our beds, we started our business a few years ago and we bought orthopedic mattresses certified, however we regret very much that you have found him inconvenient, we have verified they are not broken. The washing machine is fully functional and it has the washing program standardized. Among a series of washes, as instructed in the user manual, it needs 45 minutes of stop and then you can dry cloths, but we will check if it has been damaged. We apologize for the inconvenience about the safe, it is located in the bedroom, someone lost the key, we're trying to open it with a specialist, but if we do not succeed we will install a new one. Best Regards Massimiliano

“Wonderful condo in great location”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2013

This condo was perfect for our week long stay in Rome (four adults). The location is perfect. It's right in central Rome close to all the major attractions. Campo de' Fiori is one block away. There you can find restaurants, bars, a bakery, wine/food stores, gelato, etc. Even though you can walk most places it was nice to have a taxi stand only a couple blocks away for dinner after a long day of sightseeing. Our host was great. He gave us a bottle of wine when we checked in and even arranged for transportation to and from the airport/cruise ship terminal for us. One caution - like many beds in Europe, one of the mattresses was VERY hard. We ended up putting a couple extra blankets under the sheet just to soften it up a bit. A couple perks that we weren't expecting - the use of two local cell phones to call each other or the condo plus movie channels in English! After a few long days of walking all over Rome, it was nice to relax with some wine and watch a movie. I highly recommend this condo. Enjoy!

“A great place to stay!”

Reviewed 8 Jun 2013

For our family of 4 (2 adults, and children aged 5 years and 20 months respectively) the apartment was fantastic - spacious, comfortable, clean, with all the facilities, utensils, etc. we needed, the owners were more than helpful, including booking a taxi for us to the airport, the location was excellent, and Rome itself turned on some amazing weather. Can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Response from the owner We are sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay in our apartment. Anyway, we would like to clarify a few points. The apartment is located in an ancient building, so the arrangement of the rooms is very peculiar. On our website there is a detailed map where it is clearly shown where the 2 rooms and the sofa-bed are located. The electricity shortage and thereforethe malfunctioning of the heating - which occurred one morning - was not caused by our apartment, but it was a problem for the whole building, and everything went back to normal at noon of the same day. Regarding the toilet, apparently we did not make ourselves clear: in one of the toilets it is better not to flush things like hair, tampons, sanitary pads, or common paper. Of course you can flush toilet paper, there is no problem at all, what kind of toilet would it be if you couldn’t? The terrace is a small space with a gas barbecue grill, two tables with mosaics and plants. Maybe because of the cold season it is not as cozy as it should be, and these last rains may have given it a neglected look, but we clean it every time we have a new guest. It is true that the bathroom doors do not have keys. We’ll try to fix this as soon as we can. We’ll continue to work as always to live up to the expectations of our guests. Thank you. “The Perfect Home Away From Home in Rome”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2012

This apartment was extremely pleasant, attractive, well-equipped, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. It was just right for 4 people with good privacy provided by separate bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and showers that work well. The kitchen was more than adequate as were the other living areas. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well and quietly at night. The location could not have been better, 200 feet from the Campo Dei Fiori but on a quiet street. Access to the building and apartment were by code, not key, which was most convenient and allowed our daughters to come and go as they wished. The central location meant we could, and did, walk everywhere easily in Rome. It is a very safe part of Rome with all manner of shops and restaurants nearby. A taxi stand is 3 blocks away and there always seem to be taxis there. The owners are delightful people and most helpful in our settling into the apartment. We had absolutely no problems with anything. We will be delighted to rent this apartment again when we return to Rome.
